I know some of these are beyond what he can legally do and some may be wishful thinking, but at least he'll get the sentiment. I'd suggest you send your own greeting to Matt and let him know what you want to see from Mannkind leadership in 2016.

How about a quick press release from Al saying what he’s doing to ensure the success of Afrezza and Mannkind in 2016?
How about a statement from Sanofi saying TV ads are starting in January and they are 100% behind Afrezza’s success?
How about a joint announcement that Mannkind, Sanofi and Alphabet are releasing a non-invasive blood glucose monitor, a diet tracking application and a smart inhalher to bring near non-diabetic control to Afrezza users as the custom software tracks and learns how each food affects each person and calculates exactly how much Afrezza is needed and when?
How about an update on the SEC investigation into the manipulation of Mannkind’s stock, even if it’s just to confirm it is still ongoing?
How about an update on TEVA partnering to deliver Technosphere versions of generics?
How about an joint update with the Gates Foundation about how the Technosphere oxytocin project is doing?
How about an update on Technosphere Cardio?
How about an update on Technosphere Migraine / Pain?
How about an update from the CMO about progress being made on multiple Technosphere projects?
How about clarification of past, current and future milestone payments from Sanofi and when those will show up as a positive on the financials?
How about some anger and conviction that Mannkind will succeed rather than the we’re not there yet, fingers crossed and near absolute silence from Mannkind executives and Sanofi?

lorcan, I'm not in a particularly good mood right now, after my Kings blew a 3-1 lead to lose 5-3, and I was ready to pounce on your post given the heading, but after reading it, I really like it! It's not at all an unreasonable request of management.

To create pull demand, Sanofi could have played ads in 4,134 different American movie theaters which are showing The Force Awakens, according to BGR, and many have the movie playing in multiple theaters — some even offering it in standard format, 3D, and IMAX 3D viewing. This is effective and costs much less than national broadcast TV.
NBC 48hrs, ABC 20/20, CBS 60 minutes about Al's life accomplishment and/or Afrezza would gain mindshare for Afrezza free of charge.
Afrezza Superiority Study, Affinity 2 published on NEJM would gain millions of mindshare for Afrezza, free of charge.
I think, the new CEO will release a couple of good news in 1Q16. I don't see why CMO can't grant an interview to articulate his vision and the new CEO to explain the new business model.
Mnkd should try to get some Gates Foundation grants for TS pipeline. This will lead to future partnership. For TS Oxytocin, Minkata Foundation already got the grant.
Sanofi should consider expanding in the most populous BRIC concurrently w/ EU, ME followed by AP.
Most importantly, Sanofi should start superiority study immediately. That's the key to move Afrezza to Tier 2 and justify the premium price worldwide.
It's about time to allow Sanofi buys in 10% at a privately negotiated price using an annual worldwide peak sale of $2B in 5 years now that both parties realize that Mnkd needs funding to realize Afrezza and TS pipeline long term potential.

Dear Mr. Pfeffer,
Lord knows you get at least a 100 emails from investors daily. I personally dont envy your position. Being CFO of MNKD has problems beyond my scope of understanding. Yet, being an investor in MNKD has been frustrating to say the least. I can deal with a declining share price(as I believe strongly in Afrezza and it's future), but MNKD's inability to communicate is incomprehensible. Unless things are as bad people who want LOYAL shareholders to believe. Thus selling for a loss and cursing Al and his staff. But, not I. I believe in you guys! I believe in Afrezza and the future! But, being so optimistic is sometimes difficult. Hakan. Did he quit, was he fired? Dreamboat and other applications, wasnt news supposed to be forth coming? And a worldwide launch. Other parts of the globe have info about Afrezza; countries with socialized medicine, no insurance issues, no worries about coverage, I could go on.
It goes without saying I am shareholder, small in shares, large as a portion of my total wealth. Wishing you a Merry Christmas. And a longing desire for better communication from your company.

Why is Matt being sent these emails, he is not IR or responsible for investors inquiries. Sanofi will report in January and MannKind in February, news has to be given.
I feel the pain like everyone else, but Matt can not answer such questions. Please be patient.

MannKind will report in February, the questions raised have to be addressed at that time. Hang in there, Afrezza will become the greatest selling medication in our lifetime.

It's time to act, and quit referring to future quarters for the issuance of information. Kastanses, I'm long and do appreciate your eternal optimism, but most of us are down a lot of money that probably could have been avoided had Mgmt done their jobs better. I want this to succeed to but you need to realize these guys are not gods and they can mess up. They are not perfect by any means and they do not deserve to be left alone to fix this... If they are going to remain silent throughout the year and offer very little on their calls you bet they should be hearing from us.

If I had a groundbreaking product that more than anything needs widespread awareness, I'd have my PR department constantly be pushing for interviews, tweeting every day, holding Afrezza user group dinners in all 50 states, keeping my website up to date every day. How do you go years, literally years, without updating your website.
Afrezza deserves aggressive promotion across every media platform. When dosed correctly nothing else matches it. We need a CEO who has a passion to let the world know that they are on the way to turning big pharma on its head.
Imagine how Mannkind would promote Afrezza is Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison or Bill Gates were CEO. That's what we need. Calm, competent and aggressive with absolute conviction in the company, its products and its future.
