This is wonderful... In my gut I believe he is just the right man and was picked for a reason.. as was there a reason Hakan was let go from the CEO position... Hakan was in over his head ... Hiring DeSisto doesn't sound like a company giving up..... but rather planning for the future... IMO good things to come.. Thank you for posting this..
Also I want to add... that a man with a lot of money doesn't come out of retirement unless it is for something important.. Afrezza.... ground breaking treatment for diabetes...

He had the technical smarts and the sensitive guy smarts for some painful downsizing. It must have been extremely painful, to do those milestones while letting people go. I think Hakan is probably a hero in some ways. But, now it's time to play hardball. Technology, science and medicine are all worked out in many ways, time to play some hardball.

I think Hakan was there to build production lines, (3 lines in Dansbury and 12 lines in UK for SNY?), while DeSisto had a brief, but planned, "retirement". JMHO

Its the way Hakan was let go that makes me wonder... It was immediate and Al had to step in.. it appears that there was a problem of some kind...

They are the very best in their professions. Heck, DeSisto even beat Al at his own game. This is a perfect storm for the competition... "in my humble opinion"

Back in Aug/Sept they were quickly dismissed as not being Afrezza related. I researched further, read the land use application off the city's website, etc. Couldn't determine whether they were for Afrezza or not, but certainly did not disprove. Either way, those 12 lines are likely done right about now, or have been done for a few weeks or so based on how long it took Hakan to complete the Danbury lines.

Too busy to be CEO with getting lines up and running with SNY, (and besides, it's time for the hard launch, right? - Que DeSisto).

To go from soft launch to blockbuster might take a few more production lines.

Pardon me, but wouldn't having 12 operational Afrezza production lines in U.K. be the epitome of "all dressed up with no place to go" without drug approvals in Europe?
