Yesterday's conference gave some reassurance however I still have little confidence that anything significant will happen for MannKind in the near future. I'm sure I won't see $3.90 for years (if ever again; ugh) so the question remains...even if MannKind survives (a.k.a. barely stays afloat & treads water in the 0.75 range) will they actually thrive beyond 2016? Scary to know their innovative Technosphere technology may just fade away? I'm still in disbelief that this company cannot raise capital despite Afrezza's superior reports/results from Type 1 & Type 2 user feedback over the last year! Are people buying under $1 PPS and brave enough to think MannKind will rise from the ashes and help change modern medicine? Serious analysis and thoughts are appreciated...

I'm pretty much tapped out, but I did buy under $1. If I had more I WOULD definitely buy more.

I'm underwater also but I made what I keep telling myself is my last MNKD purchase ever. Last week at .66 cents I bought 3K for my Roth. I needed to get my avg down further. I do believe in the company/Afrezza and Al. I truly believe the $5 and under avg people will be repaid in full at some point. Guess time will tell.

My thesis at the moment is > 50% chance of bankruptcy next 6-12 months (unless significant divorce settlement before then) < 50% chance of partnership (on a big scale like what sanofi was supposed to be) or buyout, same time frame
Not risking any more capital.
And the silence from Al speaks loudly as to his capacity, energy and health at this point imo

I bought thousands of shares before the presentation. Got my pps to nearly $2/share even though it will go up a few cents after I an assigned a few thousand more shares upon options expiration this weekend (for a LOT more than $1/share).
Don't think we are going away. With the sale of the Valencia property, settlement from SNY, and a few $$ coming in from Technosphere deals, I think we will have more than enough cash to keep in operation. With that time, everything else will fall into place. Clinics, overseas sales and yes, even American sales. We know it works. Even without a cgm and a lazy tester to boot, we got it dialed in. Once the word gets out there, I can't imagine ONE diabetic that needs to transition to insulin say: " yeah, I'd prefer to stick myself eight times a day".
And when Afrezza is approved for children??? Watch the market jump into the stratosphere. I can't imagine any parent on the planet who wants to inflict pain in their child many many times a day. At some time in the future, diabetic children may be able to act exactly like their peers. When another student brings in cupcakes for his birthday, six year old little Jenny just whips her whistle from her pocket and inhales... And eats the cupcake.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see this equation. And, with the plan to raise additional capital, even without dilution, we have enough now to make all these things happen. (Note: Be cognizant, we will be dilutingin the future, albeit at higher share prices).
As I keep telling my husband, in a few years, when we are ready to retire, we are going to be very, very happy that we invested in this company. Think about all those people who invested in Apple during its darkest days. They are now rolling around in an "embarrassment of riches".

There is no knowing when it will sell. Matt said they have received many low ball offers but refused those. I wouldn't count on it selling anytime soon, at least at what they want for it imo.

If sentiment changes to the positive for Mannkind, ie scripts move upwards based on change of strategy, revenue, new partnership, Wall Street upgrading, the PPS will move too. I am not saying any of this will happen any time soon, but a quick change of sentiment to the positive can surely move the stock up quickly.

I sold my 28'000 Shares for 3.25 last year after holding them for 6.5 years because while I was still 100% convinced of the product, I didn't believe in the company anymore. They seemed to be completely giving up on themselves. It was pitiful.
Yesterday's presentation really convinced me that now they have fire under their ass. And the product is still great. So, although there is of course still a huge possibility of failure I bought 120'000 shares at 0.903 today.
I love a good fight, go MNKD, let them have it, show the world that this is a great medication meting a real need.
Good luck to all of you and thank you for the valuable discussions (although we all had it wrong until now).

Not buying any more but holding what I have for now. I'm looking forward to seeing who their unnamed potential TS candidate is and what the size of the opportunity is. Unless that looks great, I'm not convinced of mnkd's long term viability. I think Afrezza is fantastic and a game changer but I don't trust that what they have planned in terms of marketing support is going to fly. I hope I'm wrong. I am currently down nearly $90K and I would like to see that deficit diminish.

Good cost basis though so hoping for the best.

And Matt now in charge to maybe do things like he's always wanted to! Not counting on TS deals. But I did buy 2018 1.50 calls for 11 cents.

I confess that I acquired a substantial number of MNKD JAN 19 2018 $1.50 Call options earlier in the week before Matt's presentation. I simply could not pass on the $0.09 premium.
I very much believe in this company's product and management team. After the JPM presentation, I also believe that the information withheld from shareholders and the silence, whether they were self-imposed or partner-imposed over the past year, have now become things of the past.
Matt said that he will now be conducting shareholder conferences more frequently and I believe him.
I also believe that there are still powerful forces out there who want MannKind Corporation - and especially Afrezza - to fail. However, there are also many institutions invested in this company, which tells me that Wall Street will make sure that the pendulum will swing on the stock price and that $billions will be made in the opposite direction.

Yes, I should have included lowering the price to be a positive. The clinics are a great idea but I'm concerned about implementation.

I'm on the fence. Trying to digest things. Tempted to pull the trigger, probably relatively small compared to what I've already lost, before the talked about TS deal happens.
