I'm considering doubling my position from 10K to 20K shares today ... I see some upside from here to possibly 2$.. I wanted to wait until I heard what Matt had to say and I see commitment on the part of the company which helps solidify my decision ... of course I'm not being naïve.. this is a long shot as it has always been and we have a long haul ahead of us ..
I also look at the history of the company .. 10 years and never giving up .. it is the riskiest of investments where you can lose the most and also make the most .. I also totally believe in Afrezza and also the vision that Al has had .. Matt has been there with Al and I believe his commitment to seeing this through is sincere.. I also feel privileged to be a very small part of all of this .. And since my dad has a rare type 1 diabetes that is genetic this too could happen to me ... I want to support it ..

I actually sold a few thousand shares (at a big loss obviously) at prices not much over $1 a share and have been buying 2017 and 2018 $1 and $1.50 calls (LEAPS) to get more bang for the buck. My thesis is that if MNKD is going to make it,its price should at least be over a dollar or two in the next year or so. I feel much better about the decision after hearing the presentation yesterday. I'm trying to roll a boat load of $3 2017 LEAPS down and out. (Selling the $3s and buying the $1 and $1.50s) but the market is thin and it's been tough to do at a reasonable cost. I feel that I was wrong thinking Sanofi would actually help a competitor take market share away from their major diabetes products, but I'm still convinced that Afrezza is a superior option. So far that's been a very costly belief, but I know I'm in good company and plan to stick it out.

Even though I'm holding for super long term my investing confidence is shot right now between this, ESV and HAL. I've basically been wrong on all of these picks lol. But they are all long term holds and at some point oil will rebound.

Also as far as oil stocks, if it makes you feel any better, one of my oil stocks I was holding just got delisted and hit the OTC Markets, makes our situation here look like a cakewalk :-) Fortunately I didn't load up on that one but still not pretty, I was up a few thousand and didn't sell. :-0

I tried predicting oil bottom but got smoked. Oh well best I can hope for is collect 3-5 years worth of dividends (pray they don't get rid of them) and wait for oil to come back. Lets hope MNKD is in full throttle mode in 5 years!! Best of luck.

I'd settle for 25% of what he was originally looking for when he bought in.
