This is not to offend anyone.
All executives, board members must have great resume to be on boards in the first place.
But MNKD is facing some challenges, the tops are more crucial than ever.
Marketing MNKD is not a traditional path, executives with similar experiences to give advise is crucial.

Sorry for your misery.

Yes, MNKD will need leadership in the marketing area if they do not find a US partner. It is early days to know this outcome. For now and the near term, we must rely on Matt to secure significant financing to keep the BK bear away.

Typical Political Correct mentality in U.S.
I maybe in misery, but not more than the average person.
I was checking MNKD boards, the board members seem old and outdated. No offense, any public companies main mission is to increase share holder values. MNKD is to increase AL Mann's and average shard holder values.
I suspect all these people are someone's friend. MNKD needs an excellent team of board of directors.

Typical Political Correct mentality in U.S. I don't have a problem with any of your previous posts. However, I caution you about making statements like the above. Long or short, you will not find like minded people on this board. Tread carefully.

Mnkdmorelong, This is the most positive post I have seen you make. Are you you seeing light at the end of the tunnel or just having a good day?

I'm a bit jaded when it comes to BODs. Having managed boards (as a CEO) and participated (as a member) on numerous boards of directors, my opinion (and that of many of my peers) is that most boards are hand picked tools for senior management, generally awarded board seats with the intention of rubber stamping management's agenda. There are exceptions of course but those boards that in fact run the show are few and far between.
I have no personal knowledge as to the type of board MNKD currently has but if the past few years performance is any indication I would guess there's a lot of passivity on the board and some fresh blood would be welcome. No flames please - just my opinion.

my observation is that the board lacks diversity. could use a female voice or person of color on it and maybe someone from tech (maybe a google exec?)

Call me crazy but how about people with experience monetizing the value of approved drugs through go-it-alone and licensing strategies? In other words, direct experience dealing with the types of challenges this company faces in the current stage of its life cycle.

This thread has become nothing but non sense... Winning masks a lot of problems. Low share price brings out the worst in some people!
