Absolute MEH. From a technical perspective this keeps MannKind over $1 PPS probably with no climb. The moment another large cap (ala Sanofi) Corporation shows interest it's off to the races. don't be so sure this news is going take MNKD over $1. Receptor life is a start up and I can't find squat about the company. For all I/we know MNKD built the website. LOL - but seriously...where's the beef?

I see this as positive news. As a few have said this should reduce the burn rate and lead us in the right direction

One thing is for sure, Mannkind continues to b*tch slap us with these secretive deals and there is only one person that is allowed to b*tch slap me and that's my wife!

And look at the bright side. While no one on here knows who Receptor is, no one on Wall Street does either.

I, for one, am quite receptive to the new partnership.

Waiting for color...not enough here it make MNKD a buy. Could be Al trying to kickstart interest in TS... Until i see Al make a statement or give any kind of interview, i'm working on the assumption that he cannot for reasons of health or legal, but probably health. I've been more than a little concerned that he's MIA through this past month except for a statement put out by company on DeSisto hiring...and that didn't go so well

I don't read it as 3 drugs. I read it as three major categories of drugs. Could theoretically be dozens. +/- 10% of sales is much better than the SNY deal

And look at the bright side. While no one on here knows who Receptor is, no one on Wall Street does either. I'm just anxious to see who is involved in the company backing. Illumina just spun off a new company named Grail and Gates and Bezos are backers for about $100 million. So Receptor Life Sciences not only has money to fund operations but also $102.5 million to pay MNKD milestones? I'm actually positive on this deal because it certainly adds to help concrete their business model but again we are left in the dark about the partnership/partner.

(NASDAQ:ILMN) today announced GRAIL, a new company formed to enable cancer screening from a simple blood test. Powered by Illumina sequencing technology, GRAIL will develop a pan-cancer screening test by directly measuring circulating nucleic acids in blood.

Sorry didn't mean to come off that I was implying it was Grail, I was just noting that these new companies usually just receive funding money by prominent business people/VC's and are in no financial shape to be giving out milestone payments.

I know many people are anxious to find out who is behind Receptor but honestly (in my best Hillary Clinton voice) "what difference does it make?" If the company has no approved drugs and are years away from getting one approved, do you think Wall street is really going to care if it is Bill Gates or Google or Apple? Wall Street see Mannkind as a dead company and will continue to beat it with their short stick until Mannkind can show it can make money. It's just that simple.

Actually, it it was one of the companies you mentioned, I think it would matter.
