I had noticed that...appear to be in a downtown office building as opposed to a residential neighborhoobbd. I'm in Ellensburg. Ellensburg. Spent a year living there. Very beautiful. Do you teach at CWU? Perhaps a student? Personally, I am from Kitsap, but from 20 onward California, SF and LA. College in LA. And most recently Japan. Hoping RLS can make good use of their new office space. It probably certainly costs a pretty penny. Been a Washingtonian nearly all my life, grew up in the sticks outside of Lyle, then to Spokane, Pullman and Eburg for the last 17 years (I'm 47). I work in north central WA as an Area Engineer for five Conservation Districts. Not much time spent on the westside of the mountains, but it is creeping closer and closer. The number of folks living here and working on the westside is increasing for sure. RLS raised some cash not too long ago, but I would certainly agree with your assessment, lots of pretty pennies going to into their downtown Seattle office. I wonder where their research facilities are? I look forward to a PR from them someday...someday.

It looks like the RLS website has changed a bit since I last saw it. Looking at the Advisory Board, their areas of expertise are intriguing. Clinical Pharmacology, epilepsy, neurology, pain management, concussions, sports medicine, cognitive aging, dementia, migraine headaches, PTSD. An effective treatment for PTSD would pretty incredible! www.receptorlife.com/scientific-advisory-boardYes, website has changed quite a bit, I hadn't looked at it for some time until now. Not as spacey. More biotech'ish. Seems a bit easier (to me) to navigate and easier to read. TECHNOLOGY (scroll down to Inhaled Dry Powder): www.receptorlife.com/technology (looks like MNKD technology pictured, not that we did not know/suspect that, but now more visible)

www.forbes.com/sites/sarabrittanysomerset/2019/11/20/house-judiciary-committee-approves-bill-to-end-marijuana-prohibition/#1f6a994141d2clipped In a 24-10 vote, the House Judiciary Committee approved a bill that would effectively end marijuana prohibition on Wednesday. The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act of 2019, or H.R. 3884, was introduced by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and currently has 55 co-sponsors. This is the first time that a congressional committee has approved a bill to make cannabis legal. The MORE Act would federally decriminalize cannabis by removing it from the Controlled Substances Act, and would require the expungement of past federal cannabis convictions. The bill would also establish a Cannabis Justice Office to administer a program to reinvest resources in the communities that have been most detrimentally impacted by prohibition, funded by a 5% tax on state-legal cannabis commerce. Moreover, it will allow the Small Business Administration to provide loans and grants to cannabis-related businesses and support state and local equity licensing programs, and would permit doctors within the Veterans Affairs system to recommend medical cannabis to patients in accordance with applicable state laws.Last month, NCIA released an in-depth set of recommendations that should be used to establish a federal regulatory structure for different types of cannabis and hemp products through existing federal agencies so that cannabis products can be effectively regulated similarly to alcohol and other consumables. ===========================================================================================================

Does anybody know what the next step in this MORE Bill process is? Maybe this is the final hurdle that needs to be overcome before RLS can launch their cannabis products. As I mentioned within a number of post on this forum, (IF) RLS has a block buster product ( No competitors ), MannKind could receive millions of dollars in royalties. HANG IN THERE FOLKS, HOPEFULLY A PRESS RELEASE FROM RLS/MANNKIND WILL OCCUR IN THE NOT TO DISTANT FUTURE.

I’m not an expert, but I believe the full House would have to approve it and then it would be sent to the Senate for a vote. But the Senate leader could choose not to bring it to a vote at all and it goes nowhere. Based on the current political environment, I would not be too optimistic.

Yeah, it has a long way to go, and odds are not in its favour. www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/house-judiciary-commitee-marijuana-legalization-more-act-915369/MORE Act clears Judiciary Committee, but will need to get through seven more groups before hitting House floor. While the House Judiciary Committee vote marked a historic moment in the effort to legalize marijuana in the United States, the MORE Act faces a long road towards passage. Seven more House committees must approve or waive the bill before it gets a vote on the House floor, and while it’s possible the MORE Act could pass in the Democrat-controlled House, it’s fate in the Senate is far less certain. “I don’t think a majority of the Republicans will support this bill,” said Colorado Republican and Committee member Ken Buck, per CNBC. “It is even less likely that the Senate would take it up. Therefore, I would just suggest that we deal with other bills that we can get a much larger bipartisan support from.”

just to raise our awareness, Canada just legalized recreational pot. Well, it was well over a year ago. And legalization of some forms (i.e. edibles) took longer. Edibles, though now legal, are (last I heard) still in the process of being approved for sale by Health Canada. Some provinces (e.g. Quebec) have already banned some forms of edibles. Legalisation was not a boon for producers and retailers, though. business.financialpost.com/cannabis/cannabis-business/legal-cannabis-sales-decline-all-across-canada-in-september-with-new-brunswicks-dropping-40"Sentiment towards the pot sector has turned bearish over the last one month, as major licensed producers struggle with declining revenue and growing inventory and the looming prospect of further price drops."

Until the vaping mess it had looked like the once promising TS for recreational had been over taken by vaping. Now, not so much. The near-term market is FDA approved drugs. The next step will be announcing a Phase 1 study. www.fda.gov/patients/learn-about-drug-and-device-approvals/drug-development-process
