My belief is that if we can get enough cash to extend the operating runway for another year, then Afrezza sales will gain traction. Especially if we price Afrezza at the same price or slightly lower than the existing price of rapid acting insulins. There has been a decade long concerted effort to kill Mannkind and Afrezza. I'm afraid a sale to another BP would ensure that Afrezza would be killed and buried. I don't think Al will stand for that. And after the recent comments from Matt, I don't think he would stand for that either.

Things are getting interesting and if they can survive the short term cash crunch my belief is the product will take off (Afrezza). They need time and money. |

For as amazing as Afrezza performs it has been a huge burden on this company financially. If they could sell off the rights to Afrezza for a decent chunk of change it would shore up their balance sheet and finally let MNKD focus on their "goldmine" of Technosphere. |

I like the sarcastic edit but you are DEAD wrong...MannKind signed a deal (AKA agreed to, went along with, etc.) with one of the top 5 bio pharma's in the world. Sanofi has had a history of sandbagging 3rd party products but MannKind management was desperate to get the word out & ended up brokering something half ass (65% to SNY hello?). Sure Sanofi didn't market/sell Afrezza at all but no one held a gun to MannKind management and said "sign the contract." You are an imbecile. |

I'm not totally confident with this mgmt team going forward to make the right decisions to right this ship. Yes Hakan is gone and Matt seems to be doing some of the things that need to be done but a lot of the same players are still there. Depending on the selling price( I'm not convinced they are selling) I'd be happy for them to sell now to finish this sh*t show fiasco. If they can't get the right price or this is all some drummed up rumor (would have been nice to have this a few weeks before TASE) then so be it let's move forward in the right direction but I'd rather break-even or get some chump change now then waiting a couple years and maybe getting $4-5 if everything goes right. If my confidence in mgmt was better I would have a different opinion and would see the benefits of waiting. Cmon MNKD get it right this time either way! |

Let's get pricing control back (cut price), do some REAL advertising, apply for EU & other countries approval, see an increase in scripts, then see what some BP's would be willing to pay. This can all be accomplished by summer since we should have enough cash to make this happen.

I'm with you 100% ricguy. I just want to end this sh*t show fiasco and walk away with $5 PPS instead of waiting a few years for 5, 10 even 25+ PPS. I think the real shame is there will only be two bidders, not many in the multiples. I would love to see Technosphere blossom under the right umbrella corporation and steal more marketshare from Sanofi.

No reason to sell company unless someone can show me a more effective dp formulation on mkt or near fda approval or one that will make mnkd obsolete from a speculative standpoint.

Well, thankfully, I have not invested in your management style, foresight, and inability to stomach reality. No reason to sell company unless someone can show me a more effective dp formulation on mkt or near fda approval or one that will make mnkd obsolete from a speculative standpoint. Well if the rumor is true and they are exploring a sale, than the mgmt you did invest in completely disagrees with you. |

Afrezza was sabotaged because it works wonders however it was MannKind who decided to CHOOSE to partner with Sanofi, not the other way around. I'm -$35k from $2.99 so back off and don't get involved in the crossfire that doesn't concern you.

You are kidding right? No, you're not - gosh it sucks sometimes when folks don't understand that their self imposed view on reality does not equate to some universal truth, but rather provides a delicate fabric that others can use to manipulate without recourse or in your case one that is easily disproven.
Let's say you are correct, that management was linked or approving of this leak of info... Are you unable to imagine that one could relay something that one does not actually mean, but does so for other reasons that again one could easily speculate on - why waste the energy?
The truth is you have no choice but to live with constant unrelenting uncertainty - whether or not you wish to own that truth is your call.
