Today I bought 50 contracts of MNKD Jan 2017 2.00 Calls for $0.20 although the timing wasn't as good as In February, when I got 2017 3.00 Calls for $0.04 and 2018 1.50 Calls for $0.09 plus commission of $1.25 per contract. Both of those buys are considerably in the green today.

Then you could let us all in on those awesome deals! Congrats:-)

I am def taking the option route this time around. I have never bought calls but have sold a lot of puts. Have had some good fortune with those at times, but much more often not so good. As a result I have more shares than ever planned for, but at least there's still a chance that could work out ok.

Nice upward trend... My TA said $2 pivot. Quote: My TA said $2 pivot. reply: a hobby I have enjoyed is charting, so fun. What do you mean, my TA said a two dollar pivot. Please tell me. I do understand pivot points to a point.
Pep
by the way, do you see the wolfe wave? My TA sees one. www.investopedia.com/terms/w/wolfewave.asp (it is fun to yell out, "Wolfe Wave") Pep
Interesting your pivot point is also the wolfe wave point of break out.

From Tradingview. I wish I can post the image here. monthly Pivot at 1.00, ~1.7, ~2.35, ~3.3 2 yearly Pivot at ~3.6, ~6.8 ok, I see what they using. more or less the last swing high. take out one, the next one targets. TA wise, if price can take out and hold 1.89 the downtrend line and hold, then I look to the past swing highs to target. for instance after 1.89, the 12/2/2015 swing high of 2.24 targets. close to their 2.35 number. 2.24, 2.53, 3.02, 3.79 targets. easy as pie. screencast.com/t/pLO8C4GVrMse targets all the way to top.
inittowinit needs test of top

Still holding my core position of 15k shares though. Well played and I'll cheer for our Mnkd calls team!!! Lol

Today, I sold about 15% of the $1 strike, Jan 2018 calls I bought when the price was in the toilet in January (got em for about .18, sold them early today for 1.02); one of the few good trades I've made on MNKD in the last year or so. If things go decently, I can cut into my overall MNKD losses significantly with these options. But who the heck knows.

I didn't get in quite as deep in toilet, but I just sold some 2018 $1.5 that I bought for $0.15. If only I'd been more bold. When I bought it was just a token gesture to try to prove my trading manhood (not that one need be male to make bold trades)... but I wasn't fooling even myself. Kudos to those that really had conviction to buy sub $1.

The Turnover rate is more then double the stock volume, that is really high. High volume the last few day and a low float helps the SP.
