I thought this was very interesting. It turns out that one the best received ads this year for the Super Bowl wasn't a main advertiser. Esurance captured a huge amount of buz by heavily utilizing social media. Sound familiar? It was a much cheaper way to go and still captured more eyes than the main advertisers. Below is one of the reports on ad results concerning Esurance. This would be a great approach for Mannkind and Afrezza.
"One of the most talked about brands on Sunday wasn't an official Super Bowl advertiser. Esurance, which opted to run pregame and postgame TV advertisements coupled with a strong social media campaign, dominated the conversation on Twitter.
"We wanted to leverage second-screen culture," said Sarah Evans, Esurance social media communications specialist. "No one these days is just watching the TV. We're surrounded by technology. We know the only way into somebody's house, into somebody's life, is not just through the TV screen, but through handheld devices and social media.""

They probably had something very entertaining. That is hard to do when advertising drugs where one must cover everything including the side effects in a clear and balanced way. Hard to imagine any prescription drug advert that would "go viral" on social media.

However, I recently saw a TV ad for a prescription for Irritable Bowel Syndrome that featured an animated lower intestine. LOL. I think Mannkind can produce something that is memorable for Afrezza that fits in the rules. Something like: "You are only a puff away from managing your diabetes. ..... Afrezza." Anyway, you get my point. Maybe animate the Afrezza inhaler.

Assuming Mannkind still owns Afrezza and that Mannkind is still in business. 6 months ago, many people on here would never have believed anyone had it been posted on here SNY would ditch Afrezza, Hakan would be removed as CEO, a new CEO would be named but only last a few weeks, then Matt would become the CEO of last resort and Mannkind would be up s**t creek as it is now.

Look at the bright side. You have owned the most stressful stock ever. Now all other stock that you own in the future will seem easy.

Im glad the Matt and Ray show are now in charge. Hakan was probably a very competent COO, but I think Matt has a good kind of shrewdness and an ability to speak when not shackled. I think we are going to like him more and more as time goes by and he comes into his own. I also really appreciate his efforts to keep us as informed as he is legally allowed to do.
