Also a really good marketing slogan if they need one...which they probably do. Quote: Is that even legal to make that statement?
reply, agreed. additionally, is it even legal to see? screencast.com/t/Ae0RBKtMZD
It is not legal for Mannkind to make such a statement unless they can provide clinical data to show Afrezza does as such. You won't see any such trial completed for at least 3 years unless the company comes into enough cash to support such a trial.

Afrezza needs "promotion". We haven't had that yet. We need a new marketing partner or sell the drug to someone that will!

Also a really good marketing slogan if they need one...which they probably do. Is that even legal to make that statement? Flip it around: Are you living in a diabetic state? Do you like it there? As our politicians and "news" outlets frequently remind us, you can say a lot with a question that you can't say with a statement.

Yes, I just read your post here! Congrats to you and your wife!! You are survivors of this crazyness that diabetics are being put through trying to get a life saving product like Afrezza.
I just looked at your screen posting the cgm !! Really looks good!! how many can make a claim like that out there?
I pray you take your experience and share it with ev1 you can,ie, diabetic blogs, tudiabetes.org, hands foundation, and especially MNKD themselves.
The only way to win for future users is getting the insurers informed of experienes like yourselves! contact them any way possible and share it. They will take a collection of user experienced and be forced to move the accessability to tier2 for ev1. But they need to see cost/savings first. And MNKD needs to lower prices at same time.
This is a new paradigm in diabetic treatment and the industry doesnt want it in the way of doing things their old way which is hugh profitability..Thats their business!! Its not about keeping us healty, unfortunately!!!
Keep us all informed with your success as you go. God Bless YOu.

The flaw in the ointment is the paranoid fear doctors - and some patients - have of lung ingestion. How do we solve this?
TV ads only get you so far. Endorsements by people who are famous but also knowledgeable might help.
Diabetic smokers would be the lowest hanging fruit but the FDA has precluded them. But probably does not apply to vapers. Any connection with medical marijuana might be a plus.
Maybe the Marley family has an interest in diabetes....
Whatever they do, they need to think way out of the box because those stupid ads do not work at all!
