What are your thoughts for today? Also, historically when will Mannkind release PR? Thanks. I am hoping they reveal more about RLS, other pipelines, and also financial plans and were funds will be coming from. A PR would have been nice this am, but I would guess they wait until or just before the CC as in the past.

My hope is that Matt can clearly explain where the funds are coming for the new MNKD reps ( 60 -70) , their area managers and all the personnel involved in the MNKD launch . I can do a very good estimate of what the amount needed will be to support that , but I will leave that to the experts . If he does not addresses that issue today the analysts will be all over him and create more doubt , and therefore bring the PPS down . I am certain that Matt and Mike do have a plan or otherwise they would not have not posted those job openings . I don't know where the money is coming for that first phase , but hope they do inform us today . After the Annual meeting , when the number of shares is increased , I expect dilution , however if dilution is what keeps us going for two years , I believe that is the time needed for MNKD to succeed , then let it be . Still believe in the science , still would like the good guys to win for the sake of patients , and secondly for all those on this board that have been supporting the effort . Will continue here until the very end, all or nothing .

I agree with charlespk: I will sleep easy if they make clear where the money is coming from for the relaunch and the recruitment etc. The PR for the earnings conference call does (from memory) talk about giving projections, which I think may be the first time they have said they will do that (may be wrong), which if so means they hopefully do intend to be specific about this. Anything extra would be icing on the cake for me: I just want the basics right at this stage on the financials.
I too expect some dilution but not until the share price has risen and can sustain that better, unless they are forced to dilute in the face of something (some funding source) falling through. I believe Matt's position, that its not something they want to do at these levels, is an honestly stated one.
(And in response to Reverselo I also agree: I will be worried if funding is not addressed sufficiently now). But, like many of us, I am in it to the end.

Just for a point of reference Anybody can ask a question on a CC Call. You just have to dial in at the number and state your name, and company if any. Then you will be placed in the line to ask questions. It is not just the analyst's that can ask a question. I have never heard them take a question from Investors What nobody tells you is that the company can pick and choose who they take questions from. The conferencing service has a moderator that records the names and affiliations of the callers in queue, and the client company (MNKD in this case) can tell them how to prioritize the calls. My investor relations person used to be walking around with a portable phone and keeping track of the queue, moving favorite analysts to the top of the batting order and moving troublesome shareholders to the bottom. Since calls are limited in length, generally to one hour, after management covers results and analysis that only leaves time for four or five substantive questions and almost all of those go to the analysts. Conference calls are incredibly scripted to the point that management typically reads directly off a script that has been reviewed by the outside law firm and auditors. Deviations from the scripted flow are very rare.

I expect nothing earth shattering coming out of the call in order to preserve my mental health from the get go. However, like others I would like to understand where the funds are coming from to cover their expenses, including those related to new hires. I also would really love to learn the identity of RLS and their role in the big picture as well as hear of progress with respect to the label and formularies. The latter are likely pipe dreams but dreams nonetheless.

So why did they always take JO first and give him unlimited time?

So why did they always take JO first and give him unlimited time? ..only to answer his questions in the most clumsy way. My hope was that they just could not handle aggressive analysts from big players. Now you tell me that this is scripted..?

Just got the PR.
Cash & Cash Equiv 12-31-15 were $59.1 mm
Cash & Cash Equiv 1-31-16 were $27.7 mm
I thought they had to keep $25 mm on hand and if so, should they have not needed some cash the first week of April?
If they tapped some of the $30mm line from the Mann Group, would they have had to do a PR?
Explanations appreciated.

Thats kinda what I figured. They are not taking any questions from shareholders. KC likes to dream a bit (no offense KC) Does it come as a surprise that Kieth from Griffins questions are always taken now as he is the ONLY positive analysts to cover MNKD

So why did they always take JO first and give him unlimited time? I cannot remember a call where Jay Olson was first.

Given that burn rate without a sales force, I hope (pray actually) that Matt tells us how is is coming up with a lot of money today.
