Under the topic, overseas deals and MNKD, Israel and Technosphere?
Cannabinoid System in Neuroprotection, Raphael Mechoulam,PhD www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI2VT2kOfnM
the israel team is 34 people, I do not have a picture of the professors on the team on this computer. I do have a picture of collaborators screencast.com/t/nct2OiKGpv0
I was hoping to see a group of medical professionals smoking grass out of anything other than a bong. I guess I'll have to wait for that. I have been surprised at the history of this plant. Used in biblical times, for aches and pains, The first bible and the scriptures written on hemp paper. The seeds brought here on Spanish ships to the south and British ships to the north American continents, is the story. The United States constitution written on hemp paper. Slaves wore hemp cloth. In 1937 right after prohibition ended, the first marijuana/cannabis/hemp laws. OH and the brainwashing. The brainwashing began. When I was a child I remember reports of the cold war and the brain washing techniques used in Russia. I didn't realize I was listening the brainwashing techniques used here, the European, we are superior technique. So now it is 2016. Jets, and turbines being machined. Power grids humming. Pharma and the physics of electromagnetic imagining, and cannabis, can be taken apart. Like the bacteria that has been engineered to produce insulin, and the analogs made from it: turns out the same is happening with cannabis at the scientific level. Some unbelievable, seeing is believing properties being reported. The easiest to see and point out is epilepsy. Turns out that the properties alluded to are a function of ionic and nuero tranmitters speed of release. Turns out the speed of release can be mediated with this plant produced chemical formula that doesn't differ that much from the 200 other chemical formulas I have posted on this board, of every drug we look at. This plant is going to be taken apart. The laboratories and computer programs, the electron microscopes, the equipment capable of producing drugs from this plant. THC-A anti-inflammatory and not psychoactive is however heat mediated. A lot of money in it. Pass the pipe.

And a lot of political charge. In this political climate and where the laws are now WRT to federal vs. state, etc - I can imagine those who support the recreational, $ (tax revenue) and legal cost (prosecution of users/dealers and the associated crime infra) arguments would be nervous about losing the humanitarian argument to bolster the cause, should the medical get scientifically decoupled from the psycho effects. It would seem for this lobby, to be something of a race - can they get the legalization laws passed across the majority of States - and through Fed - before the decoupling happens? If not, I suspect it will be much harder uphill battle, especially at the Federal level and the States still strongly against. Its amazing to me though, that people often forget the type of realities Peppy shared. e.g. Aspirin and Willow Bark. If you told someone you were going to brew up some Bark for pain, many would assume you were either a medieval nutter, or woowoo from C.A. ......

Peppy. You've got enough energy for both of us. I'm in a county in california that allows for medicinal marijuana. I have the medical okey- dokey medicinal marijuana card from the State of California. I have enjoyed your enthusiasm. My comment about "no bong" was in hidden reference to the dreaded E(xubra) bong. Vapor pens with different medicinal properties are readily available in dispensaries where I live. They are the new "Malomar". While the use of recreational pot is on the upcoming ballot; the Feds will be removing it from schedule one status some time in June as I understand it. From personal experience I can say that it relieves my pain to the greater extent. I have fibro as a secondary characteristic to hypothyroidism. Pain is a daily issue which I attempt to put on the back burner via distraction and devotion to detail. Commerce is the reason for the negative slant on a plant that has been perceived as medicinal for 100's if not 1000's of years. I smoke weed and drink single malts instead of taking vicoden. Film, music and brilliant writing help too. I appreciate you keeping me alert to the many things I should be researching but am too tired. Your efforts are herculean in the quantity and quality of data that supports our (shared) perception of mannkind. I think Matt, Mike and those who lead the effort to recover from SNFY BS are on the verge of turning sales around. I sleep well knowing I/We have the time it will take for a true introduction of the virtues of Afrezza; made to a reluctant target market who have had to put up with questionable representation and frustrated by a complex system established (imho) to deter previous sales. Now with our own people giving 100% attention to One product and it's efficacy, perhaps the Endo's will open their minds a little more after all the BS they endured; and listen to the growing number of Afrezza patients who are trumpeting their personal satisfaction with Afrezza. Time is the quantitative element necessary to make this successful. The next 6 months should deliver the answer for those of us obsessed. Thanks again for your energy.

What I find really cool is the fact that St. Jude in Memphis, TN is participating with GW Pharmaceuticals in their clinical trials. I live pretty close to Memphis, so I find this really exciting. It's an unchartered, multi-billion dollar industry that Big Pharma hopefully never gets to partake in.

Now that is funny. He did not find my reply funny. He blocked me. I am in good company tho, he also blocked sports! Anyway, working in healthcare I really believe Afrezza plus Technosphere is a game changer! Like the rest of you if wrong I lose money. If correct I make tons! I blocked Patten on StockTwits after he sent me a message that would get him kicked off this board. I UNblocked Sports on StockTwits (she uses a different name there) some time ago after I discovered that I had mistakenly blocked her. I haven't blocked anybody on this board because (thankfully) name calling isn't tolerated here. Lefty you make it sound like I attacked you for no reason. You forget to tell people you insulted me very harshly for absolutely no reason. I don't understand why people like you find it so easy to insult others but yet you are shocked when someone replies back to you. I have never insulted anyone on any board for no reason. I was brought up to respect others. It is very unfortunate in our society that people like you were not taught the same lessons.

There are all kinds of inappropriate things that happen on Stock Twits and YMB. Its what happens without active moderation.
Easy to forget that digital communities are human social communities.
In the real world, with small human groups that have community-driven law enforcement, there is no Harry Potter-like apparating in and out of the community to avoid the consequences of actions. The community of people can collectively enforce a type of civilization - even if the human tendency leans towards exile, shunning, torches, burnings, and Scarlet As. (and gee, I do think we've replicated this digitally)
As a member of this community - speaking up to suggest that whatever happened 'over there' - move on and don't infect this board too. By continuing it here, it becomes a 'case-in-point'. Right?
(And yes, there is blocking which I now use liberally on ST. But clearly, it can also be used as a bullying tool)

We are supposed to know by July if pot will be removed from schedule 1. Currently pot is comparable to Herion which is so laughable. I have to be honest I will be really shocked if it's removed from schedule 1. The simple reason is pot related arrests generates so much money from tax payers.

Who makes morphine? www.pfizer.com/products/product-detail/avinza , Baxter Baxter, Infumorph, Duramorph, and Dosette are trademarks of Baxter International, Inc., or its subsidiaries. , AstraUSA, Inc, Brands: Duramorph, DepoDur, Astramorph, and Infumorph Heroin was first made by C. R. Alder Wright in 1874 by adding two acetyl groups to the molecule morphine, a natural product of the opium poppy. acetyl is a functional group, the acyl with chemical formula CH3CO. The acetyl group contains a methyl group single-bonded to a carbonyl. The carbonyl center of an acyl radical has one nonbonded electron with which it forms a chemical bond to the remainder R of the molecule. The pharmacology of heroin and morphine is identical except the two acetyl groups increase the lipid solubility of the heroin molecule, causing heroin to cross the blood–brain barrier and enter the brain more rapidly in injection. Once in the brain, these acetyl groups are removed to yield morphine, which causes the subjective effects of heroin. Thus, heroin may be thought of as a more rapidly acting form of morphine.

Big Pharma and poorly educated Doctors (and there are more bad Drs then good) have caused the heroin epidemic in the Us. Most heroin addicts started with pain killers. You are correct oxy and heroin are close to identical compounds.
My point is there is no comparison the damage heroin causes to pot. There were ZERO pot related deaths last year. Why are they on the same level? There were more opioid over dose deaths in the Us last year then terrorist attacks related deaths in the world but hey Isis can't lobby Washington so let's focus our attention on them.
