Did anyone suggest during the stockholders meeting that they do a live demonstration showing real time control of blood glucose levels during the ADA conference?
Maybe do it at the end of the first presentation and people can periodically come back by the booth to check and they can give updates during the other presentations.
Anybody have the ear of management and can pass along? I remember someone suggesting this before, but Sanofi was handling the booth then.

Yes, thanks for bringing this idea up again for this years ADA and any other public events they may have. I brought this up several times on various social media blogs. I firmly believe in any sales effort of devices or product that can demonstrate a real time response as positive for its sale, why not, this is just a common sense approach that costs them nothing!!! and you have your audience captive at same time to answer and question all the wish. I dont understand why we havent seen this done yet in a public forum. I have submitted to Dr. Edelman ths same at TCOYD forum when he is presenting his program before an audience which usually involves a meal as well!! What better time to have a cgm connected to a live participant showing AFREZZA in action right before ev1 on a live screen!!! This is a real sales tool !!!
I speak strongly about this idea only because I worked in direct sales and marketing many years, and I employed such ideas anytime it could be helpful for the end user understanding the product being offered..
Mike C. over at MNKD seems to be open minded to ev1 who is supporting his cause today, I only hope he can employ some new ideas soon!!
God Bless Mannkind and Afrezza!!

The 6 ADA presentations are Posters. It is normal to have author/s at their Poster Display for discussion, also I expect Afrezza experts readily available for discussion with delegates at the MannKind Booth

The CGM should be connected to one of those very large booth screens - visible coming down multiple aisles. And that sort of screen would be really eye catching too. Especially if they could have a banner above it saying "time since ingestion and application ....." or some such thing. Then, in the booth - through the day, have a regular presentation of the drug, and the diabetic volunteer kicking it off. (that Coke can test) Previous rounds/result charts through day could be displayed at smaller scale within the booth. With a tchotke for those that come back to review the results (which should be structured like a doc chart of some sort) But this way- it will draw people into the booth. And those that already attended, can glance to see results at a distance without having to make a trip back in. Which will keep Afrezza top of mind for the day. C'mon Mike. You know this has that booth sizzle ; ) Just make certain some SNY agent doesn't come by and spike that can .....

Q2U, this is exactly what Tom, my client with the T1kids on Afrezza has been telling me they should do for weeks now. He has his on business and does trade shows all over. Sells computers, touch tone, to hospitals, schools and casinos. He said they should have the coke challenge and do it just like you guys suggested.

Or what if it was rigged? That is why the FDA probably would NOT allow it and why you seldom, if ever, see competitor challenges such as the one you are recommending. Even displays of Sam Finta's before and after CGM charts are consider anecdotal and, therefore, cannot be used for marketing...at least until the bill in Congress passes, the one where they are trying to speed up FDA procedures and which would allow anecdotal evidence to be used in marketing drugs.

It would be an excellent thing to present but can they legally do that? I am totally pulling this out my ass but it seems like something the FDA would frown upon.

But Tom says you can't use someone's results to sell, but you can put on a demo and let people decide for themselves. And we need to be able to show how it works. He said he'd be at every diabetic run, drive, trade show and show Matts video at least.
