It's not what you like, it's what you remember that matters. I can recall awful commercials from 20 years ago. Some people will think our TS friend is great, others will think (s)he's ridiculous, but if the the idea that Afrezza is new and better gets across to patients, and they remember long enough to ask their doctors if Afrezza is right for them, we win!
Reminds me of a great T-shirt I saw once: Ask your doctor if getting off your ass and moving is right for you.

Look at all the outsulin.___ sites that have been registered. Is it merely coincidence that "OUTSULIN" was trademarked right before the JDRF partnership? Maybe...

I agree it's a good mnemonic figure. It looks bright and energetic and happy. I never liked that lizard like character Geico Insurance would advertize with but they've apparently used it for many years with much success. I guess the gecko was to remind people of Geico.

I never think of Geico when I see a lizard. Guarantee there is a 90% more chance I will think of MannKind, diabetes, Afrezza, insulin, and needles when I see the word Outsulin or see the mascot.

I remember seeing a post by someone from Twitter that was giving props to Afrezza (and the inhaler) after a running in a race. Does anyone know if Castagna ever commented on this post?

"Ask your doctor if getting off your ass and moving is right for you."Thanks for the laugh! That is an instant classic! Looked up the T-shirt and saw another one I liked: Dear Algebra, Please stop asking us to find your x. She's not coming back and we don't know y.

I still don't care for Outsulin. And I still don't care as long as MNKD succeeds. Purple guy only works for me if its for the kiddos. Doesn't seem retro to me. Seems pediatric. But again - whatever works, I'll take it. But makes me nervous because I'm not confident in the choices. But I'm also not clear on what those choices are, so .... blah. I will say the booth looked busy in the pictures. So que sera sera. What about the IBS commercial.

It's bold and I kind of like it. It completely separates Afrezza insulin from today's choices which is what the focus should be. If it doesn't work we can't fault them for giving it a shot.

How might it be used? On posters perhaps displayed in endo/doctor's offices (is that permitted or commonly practiced)? Elsewhere? Just trying to imagine where we might see it as I believe television advertising is not in the near term plans.

Low budget internet/YouTube commercials would be a good start.

IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) is not the easiest subject to talk about or advertise for. Animation is a great approach.
