Why doesn't Mannkind have a final termination agreement with Sanofi yet. Whenever Matt is asked about a final termination agreement with Sanofi he says he has to be careful about what he can say.
Sanofi has a $60 million lien against the facility in Valencia.
The lien was used to secure the line of credit that Sanofi provided Mannkind.
Matt said that were that debt to go away that the lien would like wise disappear.
Matt also said that if they were to sell the facility the proceeds would need to be used to pay down the debt.
Matt says that the facility is not up for sale.
Is Matt implying that Mannkind is trying to negotiate some sort of loan forgiveness from Sanofi?
If the facility goes up for sale does that mean that the negotiations failed and that there will be no loan forgiveness.
What is the likely hood that Sanofi would give Mannkind any sort of loan forgiveness. Does Mannkind have any justification for seeking loan forgiveness from Sanofi? You would think if anything was going to happen it would have happened already.

Dunno.
Is the top priority at Mannkind at present likely to be selling afrezza to docs? Yes.

You won't see a final termination notice for quite some time. MannKind is working to quantify what's the total damages are in regards to the way that the product was not marketed.
Their goal today is to get sales people on the street so that the product gets marketed. We have 12 or more months to get the final termination notice put together and know what the payoff will be from Sanofi. They will pay you can count on it.
Priority one is to have good marketing and a good launch so we get some sales to determine what lost opportunities might have been.

My poor spelling was corrected. I need to spellcheck before hitting send. Thank you for busting me.
By the way I have had too many good lunches and need to cut back.
But I am ready for MannKind to Launch or blast-off.

Iam2...or Sports I know Matt said Embarrassment of Riches which he regretted saying and withdrew that statement.. then he said "EPIC" a few months back and personally I don't think Epic is only $10 dollar a share since Matt never understood why we were under $5 back early in 2015 when Matt was distraught and discussed with Al the short interest and pps; hence the infamous Al's "take care of the patient first" comment.. (Personally.. I expect EPIC to be a valuation of 15-20 billion or $30 pps, whether that is a buyout some day or just expected pps while MNKD goes it alone) but when did he say "stay tune"?. I'm hoping it was in the last couple of months and after "EPIC".. Thanks.

I think he said stay-tuned the last time he spoke. But I always keep in mind what I heard about them thinking the stock would go to 20pps on FDA approval:-))

Hey Sports, Yeah that is very frustrating.. We want to hear something positive, anything.. as long as it's true. many get upset when they don't say anything then crucify them for speaking up and things don't pan out.. kind of a no win for mgmt. I guess all we can hope for is honesty that has positive guidance ahead... The perfect storm.. ok dinner time.. time for ice cream and zuchini so I don't feel guilty.

In order to contest that Sanofi did not market Afrezza properly, Mannkind first needs to show that it can market it better with lesser or equal resources and within the same or lesser time table.

Others, more experienced in litigation than me, have explained why comparing the results of Mannkind's sales efforts to Sanofi's likely has no sway. Additionally, there is now more Afrezza data to influence prescribing decisions.

Reply: The non-discloser clause in the contact. I am expecting the loan forgiveness.
