Had to thumbs up this whole thread! Fantastic news! They recently changed the name to Asembia. They used to be called Armada Specialty Pharmacy. Been in business for a long time. Well entrenched and well respected.

Nothing more than that. it just frees up Mannkind resources for strategic purposes? afrezza.aspnprograms.com/About.aspxPatient Authorization Form - This form is to be signed by the patient to provide authorization for health plans, healthcare providers, and pharmacy providers to disclose protected health information under HIPAA to Asembia, LLC., program administrators of MannKind Cares, for the purpose of assisting patients gain access to the medication prescribed by the healthcare provider. they will be able to process prescription too as they can receive electronic rx where as Mannkind cannot. Takes out a lot of setup time and better to outsource such operation and then scale up. marketing is still mannkind

These people need physician access. Nothing worse than going to your physician and asking and they get a bad look on their faces and discomfort, (because they do not know a thing about afrezza, or are exubera challenged, not knowing this is a monomer.)

or may be Assembia can write rx for themselves and sell Afrezza on street? just kidding Assembia is like a back office that provides support for some $$ based on services rendered

Why no PR or mention on this from MNKD. Can you name any other company that's put out a PR bragging about contracting with a support company? (We're not competent enough to do the job ourselves, so we had to hire an outfit that, unlike ourselves, knows what it's doing). Seems to me that it's a good move, but it should be the support company that does the bragging, not the company that hires it.

It would be nice to have a physician willing to work with afrezza. A physician that has heard of it, and is willing because, perhaps he/she has other people on it and they are doing well, or perhaps that they have read up on it and have an open mind. www.mannkindcorp.com/Collateral/Documents/English-US/Baughman%20poster%20100-LB%20FINAL%20X2.pdf www.afrezza.com/AfrezzaConfigurationChart.pdf afrezza.aspnprograms.com/About.aspx
When physicians have success with blood glucose levels and happy patients, it will not be as difficult to find a prescribing physician. Freedom

Sort of a back-end and front-end type model. its useful for every doc that wants to rx Afrezza. and for every patient - submit rx online/fax and let mannkind cares/assembia take care of insurance auth/hurdles.

Excellent! This certainly proves MNKD's sales strategy is not just based on HOPE. They clearly are planning and expecting scripts to rise pretty quickly. Tomorrow would be a good start. Just sayin...

wow I am excited about this. Any USA diabetic that wants to try afrezza, will now be helped with physician placement information. They can decide together with an open mind, a titration pack and lab values and follow up. weehaw. Afrezza will be allowed to be documented. With lab values and quality of life assessments.
Mike C is managing to take the decision to the people.
Take that Goldman Sacks, Afrezza will not be a niche market any more. You will be back. Take some soluble fiber.
Thank goodness that Matt found and hired a guy the caliber of Mike Castagna. What a professional.
