Now, while I really don't know for sure, and going based merely on the anticipation of many posters, I would say, "no," it's not normal.

I also would like to know if other drugs have missed a Fridays script numbers ALSO Who is responsible for posting numbers AND When are they going to be released???
It makes us all wonder Was it a big number week OR Was it a small number week ?? It does not make sense to conceal or hold back the numbers if they are flat !!

Mike C said MNKD would start posting the scripts. He didn't say when, but if the owners of Symphony and IMS are going to start withholding the information, now would be a good time to start. I find it a little suspicious that they aren't coming out now that everyone has said that MNKD lives or dies depending on script numbers.

It's my understanding the lack of script reporting yesterday is not limited to MNKD so this is most likely nothing more than a computer glitch. It just happens to come at an important time in the world of MNKD. Hopefully, we'll get the numbers by Monday a.m.

I find it a little suspicious that they aren't coming out now that everyone has said that MNKD lives or dies depending on script numbers. Lets not get too paranoid. IMS and Symphony are both part of huge publishing houses that produce hundreds of database updates weekly, and they could care less what the numbers say about Mannkind. However, it is August and lots of people are on vacation so they may well be running short-handed. It is far better for them and their reputation to be one business day late with a database update than to hurry up the process and put out incomplete or inaccurate data.
The numbers are what they are, and everyone will see them in due course.

Mike cannot post the script numbers as Data subscription policy doesnt allow that.

Mike C may have been referring to MNKD's own source of information-sales. How are the rep's paid? Isn't it a commission job?

This happened last year around the same time if I remember right? And we had to wait for the following Friday to find out.

I have to agree with Matt post. It doesn't matter If delay occurs. Probably on Monday we will know the #s and If not, we will see 2weeks scripts next Friday. Not big deal.
Suspicious? We saw a lot of things around MNKD story, nothing surprise me anymore. Someone said data Was delayed because of option day expiration, but If you take a look to today stock price is at $1 and my limited personal knowledge about options says to me that options really expires on Saturday (at least that's what once somebody tolds me). So, conspiracy theory about option looks like not possible.
Well, happy weekend.

As for the conspiracy theory about IMS. the numbers we're all used to seeing come from Symphony, not IMS (the two companies are in direct competition). The IMS numbers used to be posted here, but some time ago Liane said she no longer had a source for them.

This has happened before, and eventually it gets caught up. IMS and Symphony are subscription services, I believe, so the guy who maintains that list must know somebody who has access to the data. If either of those guys is unavailable on Friday, we don't get an update right away. Nothing to get worked up about.
