there is a company named AMN Healthcare (they also quoted with ticker AHS) that is specialized to offer that kind of services to hospital etc....
Well, at least we know they are starting to move.

This is great news! The timing is interesting, right after the Onduo announcement. I wonder if Vdex will be working with Sutter Health as a number of doctors listed on MNKD's doc find are associated with Sutter.

We know Eric F. has been involve since he helped design the Vdex treatment protocols. We also know Vdex was originally suppose to open in NJ last March. Then, they were expanding to CA and then nothing until after the Onduo announcement. If I were Josh Riff I probably would have called MNKD to find out who was behind Vdex and maybe make a deal. I would have at least talked with them as Onduo was looking for clinical partners. If I were Vdex and knew Onduo was looking to get into the same space and was already working with Sutter and Allegheny I would be thinking through my options and maybe figure out a way to work with them. For example, maybe Vdex could leverage the Onduo monitoring system. As far as MNKD is concerned the more Onduo and Vdex ventures the better as they all need afrezza. afrezza's biggest challenge has been getting patients to properly dose so they can realize the amazing results Sam, Eric and others are seeing. Riff said he wants to remove the "friction" in diabetes such as all the injections. I would like Riff to get the 24/7 remote monitoring in place asap so they can get the patients to properly dose at mealtime. Could you imagine what the 171 A1c results would have been if 50% of the participants did follow-up dosing instead of the <20% which did. |

What better partner for Onduo than Vdex as it brings on those new patients who show up feeling sick and probably not knowing they have diabetes and their BG level is off the charts. Vdex gives the patient afrezza to immediately bring down the BG and then sets them up on the Onduo network and Steve Edelman's San Diego protocol.

I just happen to have an imagination. I am not sure how great it is. I have also been hanging around MNKD way too long and told Al when I last saw him that afrezza's issue was not spirometry testing but rather the people trying afrezza where not using it right. Its right there in the 171 study. <20% did follow-up dosing. Now, if someone has Riff's contact info I would be more than glad to talk with him. He looks young and I don't know how many deals this guy has done and he may need some help. I told MNKD management at the ASM what would save MNKD would be the technology revolution which is just starting in medical care. Now we have Onduo. I sure hope Mike is talking with IBM and Medtronic too.
