I have a last minute doctor appointment scheduled for tomorrow with my long time primary care doctor. I've been with him for over 25 years. The last time I saw him a few months ago I asked about whether he had heard of Afrezza. He had not. So guess what, I gave the quickest Afrezza info talk I could give him. He said if what I said was true, it was a "miracle" diabetic drug. I said, exactly. He said he would research it more. He is one of the busiest doctors in the area, so my guess is he didn't get a lot of time to do research. Also, he is pretty forward thinking, so this is a great opportunity. So my request to the Board is this: if you could give a doctor one or two printed documents describing the benefits of Afrezza, which ones would you provide? If you wouldn't mind, please provide a link to any suggestions. I will be handing these documents to him tomorrow. I wish I had a sample dreamboat, but I don't. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks lakers and compound26. Most helpful. I believe each of us can make a difference one doctor and one patient at a time. Hopefully, tomorrow, I begin to make a doctor believer.

Last year I asked my doctor if she had heard of Afrezza and she had not. She told me that they do not see pharma reps. She is in internal medicine and the clinic is associated with The International Diabetes Center located in St. Louis Park, MN (suburb of Minneapolis). The nurse who briefed me on Trulicty said that the GP's are familiar with Afrezza and had patient(s) using Afrezza with good results, but I see none listed on MNKD's list of doctors prescribing Afrezza. This is an uphill battle.

I've been on a #PumpHiatus for the past four months. There was never a certain date, and as of now I'm not 100% sure if and when I might go back to my insulin pump. This Multiple Daily Injections (MDI) system using Novolog pens, Afrezza inhaled insulin, and a twice-a-day dose of long-acting basal is working fine for me.
