He was one of the staunchest supporters of MannKind, but says it's time for him to say goodbye: "While I still do believe the potential is amazing, I no longer believe that MannKind has what it takes to bring this treatment anywhere near its real potential."

Wow, that's sad. Sad because he feels he made a big mistake, and sad because he just made another one:-(

Sounds like a head fake to me. Why does such a believer get out at the bottom? It really can't go much lower than this even if it goes to zero and a true believer will ride it to the bottom. Guys like Nate Pile have called this a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would say something it up.

If you read the article he says "Unfortunately, that wasn't good for MNKD. At the end of the day, by week 12, the company had only filled around 250 Afrezza prescriptions. " What FUD is this. 250 a week yeah, that is 3000 prescriptions total. He probably meant 250 a week but very poorly written. I don't think he understands what is going on, and is just letting his frustration show.
Like Mannmade said he will be back. 8 months from now lets see what the story is.

He's also unlike Nate in the fact that Nate seems to have a lot of sources in strategic places.

Maybe it is just me--I was never impressed with what this guy wrote about Mannkind or Afrezza in the first place. I do not think he has deep understanding of Mannkind or Afrezza. IMHO, his knowledge in Mannkind and Afrezza is much limited than many of the long-time posters in this board.

His understanding of MannKind and AFREZZA was very simplistic and he pretty much repeated the same thing in every article he authored. He never offered any real research regarding his opinions.
My sense is as stated above, just click bait and the people stopped biting... time to move on...

Agreed. He gets out now?? Really? An informed true believer supports it to the end, and either is there to celebrate a hard fought victory or goes down with the ship. If Sanofi had evidenced even 10% of the creativity and drive that MNKD has shown in 2.0, we would not be having this discussion, but the truth is, they bailed before they began and then phoned it in.

For one, he claims to converse with Matt Pfeffer. But I don't know what that is worth, as presumably Pfeffer can't tell him anything important before the rest of us hear it.

He's a blogger. He never cared about the fate of MNKD. All of his articles on stocks are a templates. If you took a couple minutes out of your day you could see he switches in the different stocks.
MNKD has had a rough time in the market SUNE has had a rough time in the market XYZ and so on and so on
He took a contrarian position as a blogger as he knew there was a very passionate retail following that would hang their hat on anything positive he would say and click on his articles. Not a bad strategy

Guys like Nate Pile have called this a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would say something it up. Do you know what SEO is? I saw a pay per click ad the other day trying to send traffic to Nate's Site to get new blood to sign up for his news letter. I forgot the key words I used in my google search but many investors should remember Nate is a writer, and makes a living that way. Always take his comments with a grain of salt.
