This appears to be the start of a change in the momentum regarding Marketing- WE have Laura, Adam Lasher, AfrezzaUser, & others that can now ramp up appearances in media to spread the word to consumers. Sure we need people like this to get interviewed on Dr. Oz, Dr Gupta, etc and I hope that is the next step that is getting worked...
Start the buzz campaign now that a fair number of docs have been exposed. These patients (without 'opinionating' by docs) are going to be our awesome advocates.

While it's great to finally see something about AFREZZA in the media, and while the patient is very positive, it always seems like the medical community, (in this case, the doc in this segment) appears to put negativity into the positive air about AFREZZA. In addition, It would have been great to segway into a story about the head of the JDRF using AFREZZA himself and he too is calling AFREZZA life changing as well.
Maybe asking too much, but we long investors have waited years to see anything like this on television. THANK YOU!! This should finally, at minimum, spark conversation about AFREZZA. Hopefully more coverage to follow where someone can explain the benefits in more detail, (Mike C or head of JDRF contact FOX for a follow up) and clarify any misconceptions about efficacy, price, etc...It's definitely a start! About time people. Lets build on this Mike C! GLTA MNKD LONGS!!

The only became somebodies when investors needed something positive to grasp on to. No one is buying Afrezza based on anything they have to say. Its time to come back down to earth

Tell them and they will come! Don't tell me TV doesn't work. We can fight with the Endo's forever. Get it out to the masses!

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but we have seen stories like these about Afrezza on local TV in the past. Once I saw it wasn't Fox news but actually a local Fox affiliate, my hope deflated a little. For instance: O'Reilly Factor on Fox news had 3.16 MILLION people watching Monday night. A local affiliate news show in Atlanta (depending on the timeslot) will get tops 148 thousand viewers.

It was not ruined by the doctor IMO. That's what this thread is all about. Tell that to Laura who has had tons of people calling her! And read Mike's post^. It's going out to other stations.

Well, it's certainly better than having no word of Afrezza passed at all, even if it is only localized to Atlanta. And some of the tweets are right. It's better than what MNKD, as a company, as been able to produce or quickly frankly, afford.
I just want it to translate to increases in scripts. If it's generating interest or discussions of Afrezza, it's a good thing. MNKD needs to run with this momentum and spread the word.

Same vicious cycle. Everyone gets overexcited about a tiny segment. Same old all over again. Youtube user commercials, local tv stations, diabetes journals. Management simply doesn't get and never will.
They keep repeating the same mistakes. If I knew nothing about the drug, I would run the other way based on what the endo said. And what's with the boutai??? Jeeeeez!
There's a genuine struggle getting insurance to cover it. Users are jumping through hoops and many are unable to get through the barriers. And what has management done in 11 months to remedy these concerns? Absolutely nothing. And no, tweeting about baseball games does not count as a successful marketing campaign.
