The frustrating thing is that the minute MannKind started paying Laura or any other Afrezza user they'd be limited by the FDA rules in what they could say about Afrezza. But as long as she is not being paid she can say what MannKind can't say.

It was not ruined by the doctor IMO. That's what this thread is all about. Tell that to Laura who has had tons of people calling her! And read Mike's post^. It's going out to other stations. Means nothing until its converted to sales.

We still have a long way to go. Unfortunately, that doctor did little to aid the cause. IMO his statement that Afrezza will only be of use to a small group of diabetics seemed really out of place. There was no reason for him to make that subjective opinion. Why did he say that is what I'd like to know. Why didn't he talk about the greatly improved A1c levels patients are experiencing on Afrezza! Whats funny is he mentions that under 5% of his patients use it. How many is that exactly given the current amount of scripts. 1/3 of a patient?

We need more of this.
Who the HELL reads print ads. That is not going to do us any good.
I get that mnkd doesn't have the budget, but I'd rather see them scrap ALL print ads to pay for just ONE prime time tv ad. Will do 10000X the amount of all these crap print ads.

I filled out the online form on Dr. Oz's website and recommended Laura Kronen as a guest. I reached out to her and she thought it was a good idea. I suggest others do the same. If they receive enough demand it might actually happen. Link to form: www.doctoroz.com/guest-plug/do-you-want-be-guest-dr-oz-show

Seriously fann is that the best you can do? Those were the most recent audience numbers I could find. So, yes, those were the 'best' numbers available. Any ad / spot is only as good as the number of eyeballs that see it. If you were insinuating something else, you need to get a grip and stop seeing conspiracies everywhere.

Link to form: www.doctoroz.com/guest-plug/do-you-want-be-guest-dr-oz-showHere's what I sent to the land of Oz- There is a new inhaled insulin named Afrezza that was approved in 2014 by the FDA for both Type 1 & Type 2 patients, from a small company named Mannkind which was started by serial biotech entrepreneur Alfred Mann (Founder of Mini-Med, and inventor of their insulin pump which is now owned by St. Jude Medical). What is unique about this treatment is that it is ultra rapid acting due to being in mono-meric form, and so induces hepatic glucose shutdown at the liver, making dosing accuracy less critical, and it exits the body between 2-3 hrs, significantly reducing the chance of hypoglycemic events. Patients consistently are achieving lifetime best non-diabetic A1C readings, and real time blood glucose concentration levels as evidenced by patient CGM's. Laura Kroonen is one such patient; I suggest that you invite her along with a panel of Afrezza patients for an entire show to expose the positive impact this is having on the diabetic community. Here are some links to Afrezza patients with what they say, experience, and feel on social media: ... about 10 twitter accounts of our favorite users...
