I don't have the graphical talent to add eyes and fangs or I would have added them to this MNKD 10-Yr chart. No, it's not Batman hanging upside down... it's what appears to be a massive Inverse Head & Shoulders shaping up.
Now THAT oughta scare the hell out of you... if you're a the hedge fund manager. Tick-tock-tick-tock...BOO! Or as rockstarrick often writes: BOOM!
Happy Halloween everyone!

It's Halloween, not April Fools' Day.

I think fundamentals trump technicals every day of the week. If MNKD can't secure operating cash, gain profitability, eventually reduce debt and sell Afrezza better than the anemic numbers we've seen so far, there isn't going to be any reversal.
That chart is pretty scary. Over $20 a few years ago to mere pennies today. I'd call that a nightmare.

$20 dollars on hope? And we have so much more now than we did then. We don't have Al:-( But we have a FDA approved drug and user experience. Now we're trading on no hope. IMO the pendulum will swing back to the middle.

Speaking of user experience... The scariest thing for me is that after thousands of new scripts, there are only about 600 patients (based on monthly refills numbers).

You're wrongly assuming that all patients refill prescriptions every month when the truth is that many, if not most, refill every three months. For example, it's cheaper for me to refill my prescriptions every three months through my Caremark mail order plan than it would be to refill them every month at my local pharmacy.

I would think some even refill less frequent than every three months, if they only use Afrezza for corrections. I recall Sam and Terry on Tudiabetes.org probably use one box or less of Afrezza each month. Here is something funny that Sam said: www.tudiabetes.org/forum/t/emergency-preparedness/56688/29I currently have 17 pens of tresiba / lantus / levemir (I can definitely ration to 1 pen / month in a pinch 15 pens of various rapids (I could easily ration each pen to last 2 months (I suppose I better request a novolog refill to add a little more ) 10.5 boxes of afrezza--- would last essentially forever if I was rationing and avoiding carbs
And 12 vials of R / NPH / 70/30 I have no doubt I could get by for 3+ years in an emergency.... Bear in mind I could blast through that much insulin in a big hurry too it ENTIRELY depends how many carbs I eat

Compound, you are correct. My control is great with Afrezza. Some days I am in normal range and don't need the Afrezza. I have gone from 7.2 A1c to 5.5. This is a wonderful treatment!

Iam, Yes indeed!! For whatever it is worth out here in the Jayhawk State in the Flint Hills.
Just yesterday I mailed information from Kansas to California to a relative. I enclosed an inhaler, a couple cartridges and the enclosed instructions from a new box. I tell everyone that I know that is in need.
The huge thing I think is that they don't believe that a billion dollar drug had not presence on TV or elsewhere. Somebody let Mannkind know that mass advertising creates demand that create mass sales.
Can anyone recall a $2 billion drug that did not put $30 to $50 million into a mass adv. campaign? I cannot.

On the advertising front they don't have the $&$ and didn't have the foresight to raise cash on FDA approval and several other occasion
