MannKind Corporation is currently seeking a Director/Sr. Director of Digital Marketing. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. Responsibilities will include establishing the digital strategy and tactics on the web and towards social media and ensures proper processes are in place. Directs the development of company e-commerce marketing programs and overall website strategy to maximize the brand presentation, consumer experience and support the integrated internet marketing strategy for the company. Manages the research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technological and demographic factors, and designs marketing plans to capitalize on market opportunities. Represents consumer, marketing, and merchandising point of view to identify new business/content opportunities and effectiveness of programs. Works with the development team for implementation and testing of all new functions/features. Manages website strategy to optimize online marketing tools and programs such as website customer interface, search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliate marketing, email marketing, online shopping channels, blogs and vlogs. Forms online content partnerships, measures web usage/trends and manages vendor relationships. May direct advertising programs both online and offline.
Develop and administer the company’s participation and content of the Internet and for its Web exposure and position
Implements interactive marketing projects including e-mail and online advertising to exploit marketing opportunities
Work to identify opportunities to conceive, test and launch innovative digital marketing program that will leverage MKC’s brand strategies
Provides support for all communication and ensure company-wide standards are used for all social medical, including client/customer facing mater
Define and validate main internet audience through social media dynamics
Develop and utilize digital analytics to support consumer insight for brand strategies and identify opportunities to optimize digital marketing initiatives
Educate marketing and sales on innovative opportunities, best practices and digital process improvement
Collaborate with professional digital marketers and brand teams
Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines

Requirements
BS/BA Degree, MBA preferred
A proven track record of developing innovative digital marketing programs
Understanding of digital channels, ie web, email, social media, mobile, search
Experience in analyzing data
