MNKD has kept Afrezza alive but subdued

Mikesmilitaria talked about Afrezza somehow being kept "alive but subdued". I have to say I'm totally perplexed how we can have all these news stories, new posters popping up on Twitter and what looks like accelerating momentum and the scripts stay in a tight, low range. Even if they wanted to, MannKind can't knock the prescribing pads out of the doctors' hands, or stand between a patient and pharmacist to block the sale. Haven't heard anything about any product shortages so it's not backorders. Every Friday I expect at least a 20% bounce and I'm stunned when it's the same old, same old. I've owned the stock for ten years and I'm not giving up, but I do not understand how this can be. Even conspiracy theories don't work for me anymore.

Wow everyone coming out of the wood works on a Sunday night. Hi Mike. Welcome.. I agree with everything except The Sanofi part.. In another post of mine I stated MNKD has not even begun to try to sell Afrezza yet until all the pieces are in place.. Naturally I got a lot of people thinking I'm crazy.. I just have to disagree with you on Sanofi having any part they are gone but although I could never understand why they dumped Afrezza. Maybe it was Hakan trying to tell sanofi how to run there business but who knows..
If Sanofi was still a part of this I could imagine some big lawsuits after all they said Afrezza could not sell. Also how could insiders buy if there was a big secret plan 6 months ago. I believe in order for insiders to buy stock that they could not know of any information the public does not already know...we are just waiting for all the pieces to come together before advertising is all.. Endless experience has shown that this Mannkind leadership has zero - zero - creativity, daring, and out of the box thinking. And zero business savvy. Aka Hakan being duped for months on his trips to Paris (we can confidently surmise). And an often casual affiliation with candor to shareholders.

What bold move has leadership ever made? They form committees to pass resolutions to construct working groups to hire consultants to generate a preliminary working paper on say, something controversial, like, I don't know, getting a better label fast. They should have one employee sit at his phone every day to dial the FDA to firmly and politely ask, "Are you done yet?" The FDA bureaucracy is not a machine. People run it and people can be influenced with persistence. I've seen it done. I've done it.

Why do you think they still have so many employees in spite of their terrible cash situation? And it is terrible. They have 6 months like before and they still haven't hired new folks. Holidays and all that. Then Interviews. Then Training. We are back to square one with 300 scripts for at least 3 more months and then the next 3 months of shareholder torment per our tradition but with no Sanofi bailout to save the day for us this time.

BTW, that company property will be sold on the cheap because any savvy buyer knows the company needs the cash like a druggie needs a fix. They'll wait it out like Sanofi did. And Sanofi did drag it out to create settlement leverage. Almost a year to transition? This was not the Manhattan Project or the Apollo Program.

We will never know the Sanofi shenanigans they got away with bc Sanofi knew we'd beg to settle at the end of the shenanigans and sign a confidentially and nondisparagement clause to boot. Now the stated excuse/narrative of Sanofi bailing on a failing drug IS the "true" narrative. We never countered it. Just sat there and took it. I almost wish we told them to pound sand. Again, not a savvy bunch. Why are we wasting money on Epipen when we can't even get our one FDA approved drug properly marketed? Marketing money? Nah.

False hope is cruel, especially for newbies. Like I used to be, unfortunately.

These are not 3-D Chess players we got in the front office. Sad!

"I still just can not imagine SNY risking the loss of Afrezza which would be their redemption in their diabetes core business.
There are elements of the SNY/MNKD agreement that I believe are in play....and MNKD remains in a blackout period.
SNY can't walk away from Afrezza (due to need) but MNKD can walk away from SNY but for reasons invisible to us have no intention of doing so.
Hakan CAN'T be that stupid.....Mann sure the hell isn't and he would never let SNY drive over him.
Something is coming THIS YEAR and it just isn't Thanksgiving and Christmas   -

    Well good luck on this crazy guess too.  WE have 10 more trading days to get to 20-30 X from Mikes  May 2016 PPS  guess which would be   $15-20 PPS              so where I understand people want to believe, and I'm always a 1/2 full guy and never had said a bad thing about AL or the company.. but what does someone have to say before we think there statements are ridiculous.. we say that about bashers all the time.. why not pumpers.   I have been wrong on my guesses as others but none were so out of the realm of likelihood/possiblity.

Yet a lot of people are saying great to see you again Mike I just don't get it.  This guy, Lakers and Kevinmik were dead wrong on almost all (Lakers had a bite once in a great while) posts for years about MNKD and continue to post from an alternate reality about a grand plan.  I couldn't agree more with your bolded statement.  People roasted posters for discussing the possibility of Goldman being right when they cut price target from $6 to $3 and we heard things like this stock will never fall to $3 so stop discussing it.  Yet when someone posts that SNY and Verily LS started Onduo just to buy Afrezza therefore MNKD being restructured to form Mannkind Technologies it is considered an excellent and informative post.
