Agedhippie : I use to think there was some ulterior motive to your posting negative business prospects for Mnkd corporation ... living Thur the heyday of the yahoo message board ! Sigmund freunds clinic .. could not diagnose the negative passive short psychologically on that thread .. but at the end of the day you might just be a glass half empty guy .. people here have large sums of money on the positive potential of Mnkd ... which I believe is truly GREAT .kuku is a positive. I would think the one thing everyone including every Endo can agree on is nothing is better than afrezza for corrections. Even the outliers who still have concerns with the lungs for everyday use should agree there is nothing better for corrections and a tool every T1 should have in their toolbox. We even have guys like Gary Scheiner who makes a living coaching T1s on insulin and wanted no part of afrezza three years ago now giving afrezza a thumbs-up. integrateddiabetes.com/diabetes-bites-newsletter-may-2017-2/Yet we have Aged who spends a great deal of time on this blog and who knows all about afrezza say he still has not used it. Speaking for myself, if I were a T1 (which I am not) and my Endo would not prescribe I would find a doctor friend to write me a script for correction use. The problem is insurance. If I get a prescription for Afrezza filled Cigna will cancel my prescription for Humalog as I am allowed one prandial insulin and one basal insulin at a time. I would happily use Afrezza for corrections, especially in the evenings.
