What does Damon Dash have to do with Vdex? Did he buy Vdex from Bill? Did I miss a press release? If Dash is planning to open those 100+ clinics, I am all for it. Short answer, it had to do with promises MNKD had made in the past. Someone commented about VDEX hype and reality, and whether or not it was going to be the same again for the reality series (which may or may not feature Dash). |

I was reviewing the VDEXDiabetes website today and noticed new testimonial videos that weren't there the last time I was on the site. It may be old news, but for me it was new. Add to that the fact that VDEX is allowing people to upload their own testimonials is certainly an interesting slant on promotion that we've not seen before. It states that all submissions go through some vetting before being posted, but it seems to indicate some level of activity at VDEX which is encouraging. p.s. The videos are worth a listen. Very compelling statements about VDEX and Afrezza. Can someone reach out to VDEX and suggest they upload those videos to YouTube as well. Can't hurt. |

that Video of Steve and his son was actually rather moving. as a father, I can relate to how he was feeling. did you hear the father say we and us throughout - he was feeling the pain every time his son was sick. the difference Afrezza is making in their life is amazing and gives me hope this this will someday turn around and everyone will know. I did send the video to my diabetic brother in law who's endo won't prescribe Afrezza.

Lindsay's testimonial is pretty powerful, too, as she drives home the point that, after ten years of out-of-control blood sugars, the VDex team were the first HCPs to explain what was happening to her. She said that she immediately sensed a difference and that they really cared about her.
I was also impressed that VDex was able to quickly dial in the amount of insulin she needs for meals after an evaluation of blood tests. This indicated to me that VDex may have an effective titration process that works for patients with diabetes.

I really liked Luis and steve testimonial. That's real life example of a family struggling and learning how to treat diabetes and finding Afrezza is the best treatment. They seem very excited at how Afrezza works and also said that it seemed to good to be true . Outstanding and this just reinforced my belief and position in MannKind.
And at the end they said Thank you MannKind and Thank you VDex.

Really sweet testimonials. All the testimonials talked about feeling Vdex cared, Support. I see the people on the Vdex home page more representative now. Victory over dextrose.  |

So at least some of the NRx are coming from VDEX. The improved insurance coverages has to make their job a lot easier. My question would be how much do the new sample packs and the flex packs simplify the process of optimizing titration and dosing? Or do they even have them yet?

They can safely say , Afrezza can get A1c to non diabetic levels and can prescribe off label. but advertising wouldnt look good ( even though fda cant do any thing about it ) |

Any prescriber can Rx off label, but you have to keep things in context of what is best for the patient. Agree that you would not want to specifically advertise yourself as an Afrezza clinic, but rather as a clinic where you can get your diabetes under control

These testimonials -- real folks with real success -- are the powerful sweet spot of the Afrezza story. Someday soon, such persuasive witnessing will cause a dramatic tipping point, when thousands of PWDs begin dialing their physicians. Demand will soar.
Meanwhile, all of us, simply by speaking about Afrezza wherever even the slightest opportunity stikes -- buying toothpaste? Find the pharmacist and ask if she’s heard of “the amazing, new, rapid-acting insulin” -- can encourage that tipping point.
Throw in a national media campaign, the new sales force, expanding Vdex centers, and continued exposure in the press, and this thousand-mile, ten-year runway soon will seem a distant memory and tens of millions of PWDs will be enjoying a healthier, easier and longer life. (And MNKD will be selling for a truly embarassing multiple!)
