That's not what he said. He said he will have to eat crow and will have egg on his face IF Mannkind doesn't gain some traction this year. Big difference.

NY... I sense by your tone.. you think I was bashing Nate.. Hardly.. With as much as I have invested.. I'm glad for any positive article that comes out.. For the record you are incorrect too.. lol .. He said "I will need to eat some crow—from behind the egg on my face ".. so we were both incorrect.. So there was no reason to get nit picky.... my intent was to say that he put out a good articl... I interpet that as he acknolwedges egg on his face so far.. and if MNKD does not succeed this year he will have to eat CROW too.. I appreciate his straight forward statement.
cont. good luck.

You're misreading the quote. In no way does he "acknowledge" egg on his face. The if applies to both crow and egg. I will need to eat some crow—from behind the egg on my face—if it doesn't finally gain some traction this year, asserts Nate Pile,

IMO it is ambiguous and can be read in at least two ways.
"I will need to eat some crow - from behind the egg ALREADY on my face - if it doesn't finally gain some traction this year"
OR
"I will need to eat some crow - from behind the egg THAT WILL ALSO BE on my face - if it doesn't finally gain some traction this year"
I'm no mind reader so I do not know what Nate really means.
But clearly one can make a case that egg is ALREADY on his face given that his call on MNKD has been so horrible for so long. And Nate knows this. So I am inclined to think that the first interpretation is the more accurate one.

Either way let's hope 2017 is the year we thought 2015 was going to be 😉

See the difference?

A good long term trade is to buy low and watch the price go up. Not buy then watch your investment get slaughtered, year after year (even if the losses are on paper). Even if it finally goes up even longer term, you picked a lousy entry point and you've wasted ammunition by investing way too early. You have egg on your face for those reasons if nothing else.
See the difference?

Run in January 2018 =IF($MNKD on 12/31/17 > $MNKD on 1/1/2017, "traction", "eat some crow from behind the egg on my face")
