Sports, If you are saying there are more short sellers than long holders then I don't agree. I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head but I don't believe your statement is accurate. I meant on here. But just a guess. I have no idea how many actual short sellers are here but my guess is very few. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am not a short seller in any issue. I just want to make money and don't see it happening here anytime soon.

Peppy, It's not that I want you to "do" anything in particular. I moved on and fortunately made a good chunk of change this week which is so refreshing compared to sitting around here waiting for something to happen (that never does). All I am doing is trying to get people to think. I really don't care what you do but when I come here and read crap like this.... " all the ducks are in a row....MNKD does not want to create demand for Afrezza until the duck pond is drained all of predators. Is this not obvious to everyone? How can you create demand with a new universal product IF you do not advertise it? The answer is" "You can't." Therefore if you know this and I know this and it is practically common sense even to all the village idiots why doesn't MNKD know this. The answer is "They do." .....then I just shake my head and wonder what has happened to this board. It seems to have become more of a "club" atmosphere in which all the members console each other that the silver lining is just about here. Well, I would much rather hear rational, plausible strategies for making money rather than "feel good" stuff. falcon, he is new on the board, bought around here. loading. I am hurting more than he is. What I should have thought when I saw the continuing glucose monitors, is, wow, this is too good to be true. this will never be allowed to happen.
He may be new here peppy (much to my dismay) but I put up with his wild theories on the YMB for years and years. If you only knew!

I for one don't believe there is anything ( in the works) if I'm wrong then I'll be doing a happy dance! We just have to sell Afrezza. And IMO the fast way to do that is to show the patients it is here, and here to stay.

And my thesis is, there is no rapid turn around here. I can't help but feel that groupthink has taken over a majority of this board. I'll save you the effort. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GroupthinkBetter yet, it appears quite clearly that you do not hold much faith (if any) in the immediate or ultimate success of AFREZZA. I too, have felt that way about certain prospects along the way. I typically let them go and move on. It may be time and in your best interest to sell your position in MNKD (if you have one) and move on to the next thing on the horizon. Why waste ones time talking down a product or it's management on a mb to others who choose to remain invested in this company (MNKD) No one on this board is convincing me to remain invested in MNKD or any other stock. We're all grown ups here, Right? GLTA TRUE LONGS!

and as long as we are talking brass tacs, I will say, I found this board after the 2015 June ADA high and didn't know anyone. joey pots and pans was talking and he said, "price is going back to were it was." I was so happy, I averaged down, and had made money, all I saw was the inverted and the glucose monitors. I remember the stated because it went against my belief. I knew the chart had been in a downtrend and promised myself not to get caught in a down trender.
Point: Joey pots and Pans called where my stop should have been. Brass Tacs.

This may be true, but if it proves to be it's just a precursor to an unnecesarily long adoption/growth curve.
1) How many more ducks does one need than a wide patent moat, a highly differentiated product and compelling value proposition, national insurance coverage, a full sales force and inventory to sell.
2) Every day, week, month we flounder ticks off the parent protection clock.
3) Sales of anything is almost always a balance of push and pull stategies. We've experienced the merits and rewards OR lack thereof of an imbalanced push strategy. It's time to try something different but predictable and proven for improved results, otherwise we are operating too close to the definition of insanity.
Waiting on perfection can paralyze a business. Our scripts show us this is the case. Trying one strategy at a time almost always leads to suboptimized results, because a one strategy strategy only creates demand from one direction. We have the means and capacity to service multidirectional demand. You won't get the business you don't ask for.
Break out the commercials. Quit the whining and excuse making. It just feeds the shorts and sinks the stock. And, by the way, by now, management knows this, too.
I'm long. 30,000 shares in. Tired of seeing piss poor results and piles of reasons and justifications. I look forward to seeing script growth, I'd just rather see it on informed patients' terms and timeline versus some hypothetical perfect case scenario where this time MNKD mgmt somehow "gets it right".

Here's my thoughts on television commercials
If Al Mann were alive today, commercials advertising afrezza would've started the day we repossessed afrezza. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.
Good Luck everybody

MNKD has done more than sanofi ever did. Sanofi never did anything with insurance. Listening, these physicians do not want to bother with letters. Mike and Matt making headway there. We have to get to the young. Sports said face book. I say, you tube now running full prescription drug advertisements. I only went to diabetes mine once to read an afrezza thread. I remember a lady, talking. She had a pump covered by insurance and insulin covered by insurance and a continuing glucose monitor and she was not changing. The discussion did include people on afrezza saying they felt good. The lady was not changing. We want the young. Freedom.

OK, I looked. Mine was not so much group think as eye balls. It was my think. When my eyeballs saw the continuing glucose monitors and the possible price inverted. MNKD response to the ADA the Sanofi deal seem to be taking off. It was my eye balls that did this to me. The continuing glucose monitors. twitter.com/hashtag/afrezza
The continuing glucose monitors continue to show superior glucose control. woo is me. And then there is my high horse. How stupid are we that we are not allowed see?
I completely agree with you........but they still need to sell it! It works better than anything else out there.....but they still need to sell it, and have the money to keep operating until break even. BTW, thanks for supporting #nasty women! LMAO

This is such a hard time for us investors. I did buy a few more calls yesterday for 2019. Call me crazy. GL you guys:-). sports

I want to bang my ahead against the wall everytime I see a thread like this. About as identical to a YMB thread as it gets. I forgot MNKD is always 4 steps ahead. I forgot they probably anticipated the Sanofi deal and termination out on paper in 2010 and it played out perfect to them? By all means, please do so.
