I'm trying to be hopeful that this will increase public awareness of Afrezza/Mannkind. However, I would be much more excited if the press release had announced the launching of commercials on a major network watched by millions. To the best of my knowledge, we don't have a guarantee that Afrezza/Mannkind will even be mentioned on this show, and certainly neither the company nor the product will be the central focus. The Afrezza/Mannkind message needs to be heard repeatedly, not simply in a brief sponsorship acknowledgement at the end of a show. In my opinion, commercials are better suited to provide Afrezza with the visibility that it deserves.

Mannkind a sponsor.
I think it will work.
"Some will make it, some won't" Drama "No cell phones, no emails, no snacks" Irritable people
Much better than freebies in the park.

I agree that the show looks OK, and I like your optimism. However, I believe the trailer would be even better if it mentioned Mannkind's sponsorship or showed folks using their Afrezza inhalers. : )

just something to think about, what if MNKD sponsor ship is no cost afrezza for the contestants with prescription from the attending show physician?
Not saying it is.... but could lower the cost of sponsorship?

Not saying it is.... but could lower the cost of sponsorship? Good thinking, I'll bet it is something like that. I think they are very frugal. And would not waist money. I think TV will have a bigger impact, but that depends on who the the celebrities on the show are, and if the show gets picked up for more seasons. I'm very thankful we have this opportunity.

And it's the "outside the box" type of thing many posters have been demanding. I just find it amusing that when Mnkd does pull off something unusual and interesting, it isn't enough. I guess nothing will be enough until scripts start going up.

This has enormous potential to become something much more grand than a TV series. Considering how cheap MannKind's inhalers are (evidenced by Robin Offord's presentation for Mintaka and inhaled oxytocin), this could create awareness to the right person(s) concerning the diabetic health crisis in Jamaica, where the prevalence is widespread and a leading cause of death. Patient compliance is largely non-existent in Jamaica on all fronts (medication, lifestyle, diet, etc...) and of course many are unable to afford their medications, much less any complications that result from diabetes, and also majorly lack proper education. One of the reasons Al created Afrezza was to provide a solution for the noncompliant patients. Noncompliance can be a result of a host of issues. There is a chance in my mind that many people in desperate need of help could potentially receive it.

Well I watched that trailer video and it looked to me like a sales tape to try and secure financing/selling the concept. In my eyes not network quality. Hopefully the production values will be improved on. Looking at that trailer and this www.reversedyourhealth.com/the-show I pray the production company that created it goes back and corrects all the conflicting info. Do the contestants stay in the house 34 days? 13 days? 7 days? If I'm Mannkind or Discovery I would get them to take it down until its ready to be promoted.

My take is That MNKD is sponsoring a tv series at a time this summer when the company's money is suppose to run out. I'm sure they would not use there last resources at a time so critical. I suspect more money is coming and they are so confident that they are willing to extend themselves and commit to sponsoring a tv show with what I assume will cost millions. What could MNKD be relying on?
Partnership? Most likely up front money at signing.. Probably to market in other countries Matt said they have several countries they are looking to distribute to this year and I don't think MNKD will do it alone. Maybe a partnership is contigiant on a label change or x amount with change and x amount without?
That does not seem to be enough to keep up and running there has to be something else maybe selling the rights of another drug using technosphere could bring in big bucks. Whatever it is I'm under the impression something is in the works maybe that big secret plan is about to come to fruitation.
GOOGLE?

None of those Mannkind is not (I hope) sitting back passively waiting for the money to run out. I would expect by now or very soon they will be starting talks to secure another funding round. They are projecting that new funding forwards in their plans.

Al Mann talked about Afrezza for type two the big market. I have not heard that Al Mann ever said, reversed. We have a recent study that says reversed.
Early Short-term Intensive Insulin Causes the Remission of Type 2 Diabetes September 10th, 2016 Source: www.diabetesincontrol.com/early-short-term-intensive-insulin-causes-the-remission-of-type-2-diabetes/
Excerpts: In early type 2 diabetes (T2DM), short-term intensive insulin therapy (IIT) for 2-4 weeks can decrease insulin resistance, reduce glucagonemia, improve β-cell function, and even induce a remission of diabetes that can last up to one year in some patients.

If Damon and team can show on the population control mechanism of television, that type two can be reversed? What would that mean for Afrezza demand/sales?
Does Damon need body guards?

They'd have to pay me to act irritable hanging out at a resort in Montego Bay... oh wait, that's exactly what they do for reality TV... sign me up, I'll be as irritable as they want.

They are projecting that new funding forwards in their plans. Undoubtedly they are in talks... probably an ongoing process rather than something started recently. The issue is whether there will be any buyers. When a company's market cap craters so much, the company has debts, and the amount of cash needed is large, there is some point where restructuring through bankruptcy is the only way that fresh money can be brought in. I have full faith management isn't passively waiting. I hope they are successful.

I'm not sure what the viewership during the summer will look like for Reversed, but when I watch the evening news or a program on cable I always see new ads for one drug or another, followed by, ready? "Ask your doctor if xxxx is right for you." I watched the Reversed trailer and was not impressed...seven contestants, with a dietician, yoga instructor, etc. in attendance, whipping everyone into shape. The trailer did not mention insulin injections or inhalants. Granted diet and exercise are key to living a healthy lifestyle with diabetes, but a need for treatment needs to be addressed, and that should have also been included in the trailer.
