Ive been holding back on this issue, But needs to be put out there. I've read a couple forums where investers that have options and warrants, or want to buy some think if a buyout/partnership/acquisition happens will make there investment worth 0.This is not the case. Im sure more savvy investers will give more info. But If there is ever say a buyout, There taking in all outstanding warrants and options.

biotec, you must differentiate between options, which are treated as Liane says, and warrants, which are treated differently, as they are a security of the issuer (MNKD). Options are not, they are made up of wholecloth, and just trade based on the trading of the issuer (the first derivative). With warrants, I believe there is some value given to the time left to exercise, so all of the time premium is not swallowed up by the takeover.
