From what I can see and read this seems legit. I like this ant's work !! If MNKD is shipping 21000 lbs of marchandises here Afrezza this is a huge order. Afrezza is monomer human insulin neither hexamer nor porc which speaks clearly to the Arab life culture Base on the incoterm DAP the transaction is completed (money available) only when the customer party has confirmed goods reception on delivery.

As much as I would LOVE for this to be real, it looks like nothing more than a request for quote. It could have been entered by anybody. It may be similar to the monthly vs daily script numbers fiasco for 2 weeks ago. I need something more concrete than this. Maybe in the conference call on the 10th. Till then I can only hope...

21,000 lbs anyone care to do the math. Hmm how much does one script weigh. If they are refrigerating it do they include the weight of that.? This could be big news maybe this is only the first months order and they need this much or more every month? Great find..

Just like I was at the huge scripts number a while ago. Let's all take a deep breath and a step back and see where the facts take us. With that said a few things eould line up if it were true. 1. The customs exemption they filled a while ago 2. The lack of concern about dwindling capital 3. All the hiring 4. The lack of drive on the domestic front. If this were the case I would be all for it to circumvent those morons at the FDA. On the other hand why would they have sold so many shares for nothing? Simply because the dates didn't match and Dearfield forced their hand?

Blueice - This is interesting to say the least. This find is so out of the ordinary, can I ask what inspired you to think of searching international shipping leads? Are you in the transportation industry? If true, this would certainly be the most exciting news for MNKD in years. As a long time MNKD long, we're now programmed to remain cautious until confirmation. Do you know if the rate shown is about right for this size and weight delivery? This doesn't appear to just be a request for a shipping quote as the dates shown indicate the cargo left yesterday and will arrive June 4. Even if it were just a quote, it would still be good news. I will be cautiously optimistic this is not another carefully orchestrated scheme to manipulate the stock price. Guess we'll know shortly when we see scripts jump from under 300 a week to 300,000 in one week;) GLTA

"we're now programmed to remain cautious until confirmation" ... I fail to recall a time you ever expressed caution versus unguarded optimism based on silence and things happening behind the scenes. But, more seriously, it says no such thing (about cargo leaving yesterday and arriving June 4). This quote was posted (as stated on the site) on 05-May-2017 14:51. Somehow (!) one or more (so-called alleged) longs found it moments later. I find that more than a little coincidental. As another remarked, I think someone (unrelated to Mannkind) just entered in a quote. Possibly a shortie or a bored long, playing a game or killing time.

I'm a skeptic as well. While I would like to believe this is actual shipping information until there is confirmation I certainly wouldn't act on it. The idea of this type of order is plausible. Someone could establish a login and chat with a broker and verify whether it's a shipment or quote based on the shipping number.

If real, here's a rough estimate by volume. I think that the cargo weight includes everything, such as container, boxes, cartons, plastic, etc. Since it's a lot more work to figure out all those variables, I just estimated the size of a box of Afrezza, calculated the volume, and divided the container volume by the carton volume for a grand total of about 40,000 cartons of Afrezza. It's a very gross estimate with some fudge. Then, I took this number times the lowest priced box of Afrezza on InternationalPharmacy.com. $361/carton * 40,000 cartons = $14.4 million Let's hope that's a monthly national healthcare/hospital subscription... Feel free to check and refine my work. Now, I'm heading on vacation. Thanks.
