I don't think those were refrigerated. I do not see an extension cord. Peppy, they load the refrigerated ones "with extension cords" down near shaft alley to evade SOLAS violations by Coast Guard Inspectors. You can't have all those extension cords thrown about the deck... it's a tripping hazard Btw, if the ship only lost two containers overboard it was a very good day for the Captain.

It was just one quote for a price and not an invoice. I'm sure being new to shipping oversees - if they are - they would get several or more quotes and weigh the costs and risks of each. This was a shipping quote but does not mean they did not get air freight prices also.

Packages are small and easy to ship by scheduled airfreight. Today the cost of air freight is very cheap mainly because of the Amazon affect. FedEx, UPS and many other scheduled air freighters ride service to the Middle eastern countries.

Am I missing something? Did someone with actual knowledge and facts state for sure that 10.5 tons of AFREZZA is either at, in transit, be loaded and bound for, thought of posting on a message board that it's heading to UAE or some other small Middle East nation? When will it show up as account due? When does it count as a sale? Facts only! Please get your heads out of the clouds and look for what you know, not what you hope. My comments have nothing to do with shipment. I do realize my credibility (on PB) with recent posts suggesting a partnership or co-promotion deal that will be announced before ASM is on the line. I like Matt will have no credibility if I'm wrong. Lets hope I'm right and Good luck to all mnkd longs! Are you at liberty to say why you're so confident that big news is coming? I'm assuming you know someone in the know?

There is a commercial, a label change, hopefully better insurance coverage coming. A study clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03143816?term=NCT03143816&rank=1 pilot study, stat study. and the pediatric trials scheduled. How can it get any worse?

I have to smile, this is classic Mannkind speculation which has gone on for years. There very well may have been a shipment of product but I highly doubt it would have gone via ship. I also believe the freight quote referenced was bogus or not legitimate in some fashion. We will know soon enough but certainly hope they are making some sort of progress!

Plane, train and automobile, just sell the stuff.
Any Way You Want It - Journey ( With Lyrics ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgvnZIxOX08
I hope it is on one of the above. Math by OOG. Current Burn Rate: 10M / month Annual Burn Rate: 120M
30 Day Patient Cost: 600 Profit to Mannkind: 150
30d Prescriptions Required for breakeven: 120M/150 = 800K 90d Prescriptions Required: 267k (annually) Weekly TRX Required: 267 / 52 = 5128
Roughly speaking MNKD needs 5200 total prescription per week to break even at current price structure.
This corresponds to approximately 67700 patients using Afrezza.

By end of year they'll have new label, updated trials, one drop, etc...

If you're not at risk of endangering someone else how come you can't share? I'm less concerned about the future catalysts than I am about the money needed to make the catalysts happen.
