Thanks for posting this, it is a station in our "backyard." We watch it but I don't recall seeing this story. Then again, I may have missed it too since we watch both WAND and WCIA and by the onscreen scroll it appears to have been last nights 10 o'clock newscast. I'll keep my eyes open for it airing again this week.

Wow! Great one Harry. I wonder how Afrezza got into this news piece. Did Mike set that up? I love it. Looks like a good chance rumblings of Afrezza, the inhalable insulin, could waft through the legislature. This might not just bring interest to Afrezza, but might also bring about interest in MNKD stock. It's always good to be seen in high places.

He clearly said per month. Can anyone else comment on that price? The announcer said "that's over $32,000 per year", so that really shines a bad light on Afrezza. I'm not even sure this is good advertisement for Afrezza. Could that really have been a mistake? (month vs. year)?

Using the price offered on International Pharmacy (which I think is on high end compared with other retailers), $2,700 will get him either 3 boxes of titration pack, totaling 540 cartridges, i.e. 18 cartriges a day or 6 cartridges a meal (if he eats three meals a day, like most of us). or 6 boxes of regular packages, again, totaling 540 cartridges, i.e. 18 cartriges a day or 6 cartridges a meal (if he eats three meals a day, like most of us). internationalpharmacy.com/products/afrezza-inhalation-cartridges-insulin-regular

If you ever encounter a radio or TV newscaster or reporter (I've been both) a word to the wise: they consider being called an "announcer" an insult. "Announcer" refers to people who read commercials, show introductions, and other copy written by others. Even disk jockeys and talk show hosts bristle if they're called "announcers."

Ha! I referred to a guy as a cook one time and he shot me with daggers from his eyes as he informed me he was a "chef"! OK, I'll try to be more sensitive to people's egos, but they should try to meet me half way in coming down to earth from the clouds they live on.
