If you look at the map you can see that Merck already has a 3000 sq ft stage right in front of the door.
Why would they have a separate 400 sq ft section just for Diabetes? They're already at a Diabetes convention!
Merck will have a cash position of about $40B once they close their recent transaction with Bayer.
Since they have a relationship with Bayer, Technosphere would be a great candidate to match up with Bayer's pain products.
All speculation of course.

I'm resurrecting this thread to show that if you look at the map now, MannKind no longer has a booth.

Will there be no Mannkind booth because Management is conceding that there will not be Approval in time, or will there be no Mannkind booth because there are plans to have the Afrezza display in ___________'s booth? (Fill in the blank with your favorite big pharma name)

The waiting may be the hardest part....but it sure as hell feels good today! What's another 6 weeks? I'd rather wait patiently to see if I'll be joining Spiro in Siberia.

I'm resurrecting this thread to show that if you look at the map now, MannKind no longer has a booth. What might be of interest, is that Novo's foot print has just expanded into what used to be the space occupied by MNKD if my memory serves me correctly. I believe that they had the top right corner of booth 1406 that is no longer separate from Novo.
Coincidence or just expansion into the void due to proximity? I'll leave that one up for further discussion.

Wouldn't it be a great short trap to cancel the booth so that it appears management knows there won't be approval before the ADA event, only to get early approval anyway? Now really, how hard would it be at that point to get their booth back, lol?

(Fill in the blank with your favorite big pharma name) Actually this shouldn't come as a surprise because Al did say that it may not pay to have a booth unless we are approved days or even weeks before the event, and we are only a week and a half from the ADA conference. Alfred Mann - Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer "We would like to have booth. The problem is that if we cannot open discussions, it's probably is worth spending the money and we can't have open discussions unless we have approval sometime and probably days if not weeks before the ADA meeting and we have no guarantee of that. The can exhibit at the show and probably have the last couple of years at the show. The are providing information and research information. NO FDA rules prevent them from marketing about their future.
