From the ADA website "World's Largest Diabetes Meeting"
And the CEO said it's not worth having a booth? I would not be surprised if there is a little bad blood between the company and the ADA. After all, the ADA may have granted a little tweaking of the MNKD data in the SOC, but they still will not list inhaled insulin along side it’s injectable insulin counterparts in the recommendation section. You know, the part that actually means something when it comes time to start prescribing insulin.

I have a suggestion ...hire the people that you did not hire that you know were darn qualified, I know five personally, that would not give up, not quit, and who love Afrezza!! I'm afraid I'm having trouble deciphering this. So you know 5 people that you feel were very qualified but were not hired? Yes absolutely. And I’m not speaking about myself because I don’t have a degree and I don’t believe they would consider me even though I would try my hardest.. the people I am talking about have excellent backgrounds in pharmaceuticals. Were either sales reps before or have marketing experience and I mean extensive experience! Or both. And people in their families on Afrezza. But they’re Mankind longs so maybe that’s the reason. Although I don’t know if they mentioned that... but let’s face it when you work at mankind you’re all long.

Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to start Facebook. Not having a degree should not hold you back Sports, especially in sales.

Not to be argumentative on this point, but I am still going to opt for a brain surgeon if I should need my brain worked on.🙂

There is no degree in sales. The best attributes in sales is passion, instincts, and the ability to connect with people; things that don't require a degree.

Type 1 1. Take Tresiba every day or so. 2. Take Afrezza at every meal.
Type 2 1. Take Afrezza at every meal.
What would we need the ADA for?
I think I might be on to something.

Until extremely large, well-controlled, expensive and timely, randomized, double-blind clinical trials are performed evaluating everything in the SoC in all possible combinations, and until the long-term safety clinical trial is completed...total hogwash! Just look at this non-sense. 😉

What I find particularly humorous about this is that it's part time (24 hours a week). There is also 50% travel so that's going to kill a lot of that 24 hours as well. Let's hope the key stakeholders, associations, groups, and professional societies don't expect a quick response. Seriously; isn't this just business as usual for the marketing team? Isn't professional organizations meant to be Dr Kendall's speciality?

Yeah, WTH is a part-time director position? The whole job description seems like a giant fluff piece, I still have no idea what they are looking for and what the role is actually going to do.

No clue, very confusing🤷♀️ Certainly doesn’t inspire confidence that they have any focus on what direction they’re going. ”Please come join us in this part time director role with no actual education/experience guidelines and solve all of our problems!”

Did Tross write this? Many of the bullet points for qualification read “strongly preferred” rather than “must possess”.
And why is a strong desire to change the diabetes community even listed? There could exceptional candidates with an excellent track record with treatment for other diseases who KNOW the steps essential for achieving success by identifying KOLs, medical and advocacy organizations, media outlets, regulatory hurdles and who understand how to be effective in brings paradigm changes.
That’s hardly a part-time effort either.
