My name is, well, you can see my name to the left... I signed on here just about a year ago, invested in MNKD the first time after checking some comments made by someone on the "electric ray gun" area of YMB (I bet you know who you are). That was 2014-2015. This is now. My number is 6.2, post. The disease has affected many of my family and coworkers directly and indirectly. I wish that all of them had been given the opportunity to try Afrezza, but it is too late for many. I am not diabetic, but if I were, I would want to try Afrezza first. I'm also not a doctor, so I think their opinion might differ from mine. Thanks to Sports who bothered to kindly reply to a total stranger's message on this board. Thanks also to the mod's diligent work to keep things civil here.

MNKD has been very quiet of late. This is good. Focused on selling, with slowly rising script counts makes me glad. And news is coming. Michael C. is doing his job, just like Zhukov did at Stalingrad, of that I'm sure of. I remain optimistic about the future success of Afrezza and beyond. Meanwhile the war continues and the naysayers time at Stalingrad draws ever closer & the trap will soon be sprung. The turning point of this war is coming soon. Stay Tuned, Stay Long, Stay Strong. Onwards!

Q2U here.
Invested before FDA approval. Tried averaging down in a stupid, stupid way. Holding and not lending any from non-margin account. B/E around $35 post-split = No point in selling. Hoping it turns around enough to save retirement.

Saxcmann here.
Started investing in mnkd about 6 years ago. My first and last Pharma stock. Lost over $150k on paper. I started Lending my shares about 2 years ago. My B/E is about $15 post split. I stopped averaging down about a year ago. I would sell all my shares if I could get $7.50.
I enjoy this message board way more than the stock price!

Metformin is the Primary Suspect in over 1000 reported Adverse Events. Many of them being death and life threatening. Ignorance is not bliss. Metformin is the Primary Suspect in over 1000 reported Deaths: Interesting how many on just the short list mango provided are "completed suicide" - I can honestly say what a completely empty feeling one is left with when a diabetic family member or coworker chooses this. Sucks! My quick lookup on fdable.com/ yielded: "Searched for Adverse Event Cases with drug names containing the term: metformin AND adverse reactions containing the term: "completed suicide" AND with an outcome code of: de and found more than 1,000 results."

OTOH Better to remain silent and thought the fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt (Unsure who to attribute this favorite quote) Ironically, its not at all clear that Lincoln coined (or said) that. quoteinvestigator.com/2010/05/17/remain-silent/Which is probably why kball kept silent on the matter of attribution.
