If there is a positive surprise coming on Monday, any chance they'll wait to release ER after hours, or do they always release PM?

Looks like mannkind used up what's left of their cash on that beautiful booth today, bankruptcy announcement must be coming next week. OR maybe they'll just dilute 50k shares to pay for the booth. stay tuned folks. Hey madog! You may want to occasionally add an emoticon to help others understand your satire.
I can't use them because this board won't let me:-) But what I do understand is that no one who owns shares in a stock bashes it on a public board. So it can get picked on on Twitter and in SA articles. It's one thing to report the truth. Good or bad. But when it's over and over again negativity( negativism — characterized by habitual skepticism and a disagreeable tendency to deny or oppose or resist suggestions ) it's obvious which side you're on....and thats your prerogative. But we get it.

That gal was my favorite female rock vocalist growing up. But nowadays and also looking back, it far and away should be Ann Wilson of Heart. (BTW Best Male rock voice for me was always Freddie) Best female would be Stevie Nicks and best male would be Sammy Hagar. Awaiting Rockstarricks take on this

Rick may surprise you by naming a female artist like Bonnie Tyler or Lou Ann Barton. One belts out Creedence Clearwater Revival hits and the other was a fine blues artist who toured with Stevie Ray Vaughn.

To come home tonight and check this board to see what was said about our boy Marty...I read negative rebuttals one after the other by our "fellow investor" DBC, 'advising' us that any potential positive scenario is not only far fetched, but patronizes those of us who hope to retrieve the significant monetary loss that we feel somewhat cheated out of ( example? The hedge fund CEO who was just convicted of securities fraud, heaving shorted our stock, and sent an email to the FDA explaining why should not be approved) So in closing, really enjoyed reading the posts of MANY very intelligent fellow longs. Truly reassured me on many occasions that I didn't make a frivolous investment..this product will eventually save lives..regardless of these 'pessimistic'/ fake longs try to "SAVE" us

Truly reassured me on many occasions that I didn't make a frivolous investment..this product will eventually save lives..regardless of these 'pessimistic'/ fake longs try to "SAVE" us I've posted on here exactly when I've made trades. Only once have I sold any long position... a short term option trade that at the time was relatively small part of my MNKD holdings. So you are absolutely lying when you imply I'm not a long, and long time, MNKD shareholder. But par for the course. For some it is ok to make anything up, lie about people, etc. as long as it serves your purpose (which in reality is you making money) you feel it is ok. This is a discussion board so probably best that you not continue here if you are not wanting to read honest discussion. I've never said that positive scenarios in general are far fetched... though there are certainly some things people post here that are far fetched (Amgen buying MNKD, ship loaded with Afrezza sailing to UAE, etc.). We've had positive things happening already and I often post about them with positive comments. More positive things are in the works. Recently I've been posting stating that I'm hopeful that 2018 formularies will show meaningful improvement. But I also consistently point out the reality that as an investment there is still significant risk because of finances... and additionally that when that is resolved, if MNKD remains a public company, it will have years of success and share price appreciation, and I'd likely start recommending it as an investment at that point. Right now it is an exciting gambling opportunity.

"Honest discussion"??..Explain to me how someone who invests their hard earned money in a company and then spends day and night on a message board outlining EVERY reason why that company will not succeed..I never claimed to be be a savvy stock investor, but I do have common sense..And the time you spend on here basing your OWN investment has never made any sense to me and many others

It takes two sides, and by taking this approach you get an opinion and not a cult. Taking risks in investment is not a problem however taking unquantified risks is just gambling. Discussion helps quantify risk. Glad to help

I do expect the company will succeed in the long run, and I've been stating that for years. I've always agreed that Afrezza is a game changing product. I merely point out that there still could be very painful dilution or perhaps even worse for shareholders, and that those investing in MNKD should be aware of those risks. It's called being honest. As an investor I don't feel necessary to pump what I own. I do often confront those here who engage is pretty egregious pumping with tales of secret deals and every technology and pharma company being in a bidding war to pay billions for MNKD. I don't even think that sort of pumping is good for my investment, because that is creating false narratives that are then proven to be wrong, and those duped into buying by those tales with sell. I'd rather have informed purchasers of MNKD shares... no pump and dump cycles. I'm not day trading MNKD so volatility of wild rumors then proven wrong do me no good. So "honest" has a meaning. You can look it up in the dictionary if you are unfamiliar with it... it doesn't mean "self serving", or "complimentary". Show me something I've said that is dishonest... one thing.

One thing I like about being a long-term investor in MNKD is that I invested in the belief of a uniquely superior science that could dramatically improve the world's largest healthcare problem. This has now proven to be true by thousands of diabetics who have learned about Afrezza and how to use it correctly. While the company has not yet succeeded commercially, there's no doubt to me that it will with Mike Castagna at the helm. I've certainly had frustrations along the way but have never traded or seriously worried about my investment. In fact, I agree with Nate and continue to add. Another thing I like is this message board, especially after finally leaving that other really bad one. While I don't agree with some of the posts, I do enjoy reading all. I especially like the current direction of this company and having confidence that all the negativity will soon just be an entertaining memory. I don't expect this dramatic upturn to begin on Monday, which is the point of this thread, but it's great knowing it could. IMHO, the bigger gamble is to sit on the sidelines waiting and chance missing the day when everything turns. GLTA

"This has now proven to be true by thousands of diabetics who have learned about Afrezza and how to use it correctly." Akemp, thousands? Well, maybe two or three thousand, so I guess you're right. DBC - show you where you lied? C'mon, that's next to impossible, you may well have believed everything you ever said here. I know I do, except when I'm being sarcastic, which is a high percentage of the time... in which case my beliefs are somewhat twisted. Sports - I thought your probationary period prohibiting the use of the emoticons expired? Not the case? Sorry, geez, even OJ got paroled. For those of you who don't know, Sports found a way to combine various emoticons so as to produce suggestive, and some would say salacious, results. She is very gifted in that way. Overall - since the day the announcement of the SNY partnership (what was that, about 40 years ago), every pronouncement, prediction, and even hope, of the triumph and success of Afrezza has gotten more far fetched as time has passed. The next chapter in this sordid story will be unveiled on Monday - Monday may even warrant two chapters. We'll see.

babaoriley... well, setting aside intent, I challenge anyone to point out something that was factually untrue that I've said... short of my own clear sarcasm at times.
