While we're at it with the oldie but goodie articles that are directly related to MNKD IMO, here's a beaut, while we're having discussions about incorrect labels and the individual(s)/murderer's behind them: libn.com/2016/11/23/poison-pills/Sorry Liane but as far as I'm concerned this has a direct correlation to "All About MNKD" and it's history to where we are now. Hell even Mike C. tweeted when Shkreli got sentenced, another POS that was part of the historical 3 ring circus surrounding the events with this company.

Evidently he took offense to the alter ego comment so I deleted the previously posted comment here, it will be edited without the alter ego comment and re-posted on SA Spencer is on this forum? Or you mean he took offense to it posted on sa? What did the comment say? It was deleted because it was inferred his usual minions were possibly alter egos....so that part was edited and it now sits in the comments section as comment from smokenmirrors. You should look at it with the responses that follow, the pennies that the clicks get are insignificant compared to the points that he gets called out on. As far as I'm concerned if you read the blog from the link I posted with regard to manipulation above in the thread, one can understand how the timing of his persistent innuendo's regarding the end of the runway for MNKD that he's been spouting on a regular basis for quite some time correlates with the article. It is evident that if a short position isn't closed out when it has little to no profit left, there is something very nefarious behind it, as is referred to in the same article. If you read the comments that follow the blog article from Hudson, you essentially see over 80 comments that concur how common the practice is, especially on smaller cap biotech stocks. In MNKD's case it has the blatant distinction of getting mislabeled by the FDA which with Hamburg and her husbands track record as seen in the other article regarding her protecting a bad label for Levaquin ended up profiting either directly or indirectly, in MNKD's case one of the biggest holdings in his hedge fund was NOVO which is the one that continues to buy off the insurance companies. In the case with Levaquin, his holdings in Johnson & Johnson as alleged in the article benefited for a period of time when the label didn't have the appropriate warnings causing much harm to the individuals using it. That is why those who have been following this story regard the upcoming FDA decision as a make or break vindication of essentially repealing the mark she left on it. Those are just two examples of her conflict of interest with holdings that they had interest in. The suit with Levaquin actually had them facing RICO: Larry Klayman, an attorney who developed a reputation for cases with a political aspect, filed the suit on behalf of Levaquin users, arguing the FDA failed to aggressively and accurately label Levaquin, while Hamburg and Brown benefited. He said Hamburg’s “husband profited enormously from as much as half a billion dollars in Johnson & Johnson stock.” He added that, while patients developed medical conditions from the drug, the couple “reaped large financial gains.” “The entire sad episode is an example of how some in private industry are alleged to conspire and act with Washington, D.C. public officials to greedily line their own pockets,” Klayman said. Here's more: www.federalcharges.com/news/2016-04-25-former-fda-commissioner-named-in-massive-conspiracy-and-rackeetering-lawsuit/Lastly the chart of his hedge funds holdings as of 3/31/2015 (in poison pill link that I posted), the one that glaringly stands out the most and makes the J&J holdings pale in comparison is the outrageous size of the NOVO holdings....a 10 yr. old could put this one together, it can't be any more blatant and their hubris while with complete disregard for life is beyond criminal especially with the trust she was given in her position. She was about as hypocritical to the hippocratic oath as one could get (I am assuming she took it at Harvard Medical School) ....also in the article from the link just above "federal charges" there was this: Another interesting aspect in the lawsuit is that Hamburg bribed her way into into her FDA commissioner role because she made financial contributions to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama....ok let's not get political but the whole thing is part of a huge cesspool, speaking of which let's get back to the original topic of SA & SO Now should I tell you how I really feel

Ironically, Hillary Clinton's medical condition during her Presidential campaign may have been the result of her being prescribed Levaquin to treat her case of pneumonia, according to the attorney who brought the RICO lawsuit against Hamburg. Excerpt: An estimated 5,000 people died and an estimated 80,000 people were damaged after consuming Levaquin without adequate safety warnings while Dr. Hamburg was FDA Commissioner and her husband was Renaissance Technologies Co-CEO.
It wasn't until after Dr. Hamburg left the FDA that the warnings of disabling and potentially irreversible serious adverse reactions, described above, were added to Levaquin.
Klayman questions, "Although the warnings are now on the Levaquin label, why would Clinton's physician prescribe these dangerous antibiotics to a presidential candidate? Why would a physician subject a presidential candidate to an antibiotic that could result in permanent neurological or psychiatric issues?"
Source: www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/hillary-clintons-medical-condition-may-be-result-of-her-taking-dangerous-drug-levaquin-according-to-larry-klayman-300328917.html--- Ironic. Incidentally, a U.S. District Judge dismissed the RICO lawsuit, stating that the plaintiffs failed to show harm. Hamburg & her husband realized a net worth increase of over $100 million while she was Commissioner. I, too, hope that the new FDA Commissioner rights the alleged wrongs that allegedly took place during Hamburg's tenure. Somewhere on this forum, I posted the record proving that Rennaisance (the hedge fund managed by Margaret's husband, invested in MNKD leading to the speculation of a conflict of interest by the former Commissioner related to early CRL decisions related to Afrezza.

LEVAQUIN® is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial indicated in adults (≥18 years of age) with infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria (1, 12.4).
WARNING: Fluoroquinolones, including LEVAQUIN®, are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages. This risk is further increased in older patients usually over 60 years of age, in patients taking corticosteroid drugs, and in patients with kidney, heart or lung transplants www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2008/021721s020_020635s57_020634s52_lbl.pdf
Chemically, levofloxacin, a chiral fluorinated carboxyquinolone, is the pure (-)-(S)-enantiomer of the racemic drug substance ofloxacin. The chemical name is (-)-(S)-9fluoro-2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-10-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-7-oxo-7H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]-1,4benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid hemihydrate. (Look at the ionic charge on that.) Levofloxacin has the potential to form stable coordination compounds with many metal ions. This in vitro chelation potential has the following formation order: Al+3>Cu+2>Zn+2>Mg+2>Ca+2.
12 CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY 12.1 Mechanism of Action Levofloxacin is a member of the fluoroquinolone class of antibacterial agents [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.4)].
12.4 Microbiology Mechanism of Action Levofloxacin is the L-isomer of the racemate, ofloxacin, a quinolone antimicrobial agent. The antibacterial activity of ofloxacin resides primarily in the L-isomer. The mechanism of action of levofloxacin and other fluoroquinolone antimicrobials involves inhibition of bacterial topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase (both of which are type II topoisomerases), enzymes required for DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination.

My bet would be that she has a penicillin allergy. That's my problem and you get stuck with fairly unpleasant antibiotics as a result. On the RICO case; Levaquin was approved 13 years before Dr Hamburg became the FDA commissioner. The Lexis report of the dismissal is here.
