Number 2 now and if real-time holds what it is currently doing, it should be #1 for today I would think.

Hi all, first time poster here, been Long for years (I promise!) and following this board for years as well.
Is anyone concerned that these gains will be rolled back significantly when scripts come out on Friday? Friday's numbers will cover the week PRIOR to label change, right? I just hope the newcomers don't get spooked if numbers come in with modest to no increase...

Might be a "roll back" as you call it, but it won't be because of script numbers (some longs may look at their account balances and gasp, and look to take some off the table). We've been on a "roll up" for a while now, and it has been in spite of scripts.

As Mike C said ... forget script numbers. He looks at cartridge sales.
I look at where this company is headed ... and now EXPOSURE in media. All those diabetic financial people now know about Afrezza.
Okay ... back to counting my $$$.

Aloha Rick: Nice to see you posting and welcome! IMO even if script sales remain flat and we stay above 400+, I suspect all will be good on HMS Afrezza. Cheers.

Totally agree with @babariley... every bull has to rest occasionally. This run up isn't about tomorrow's script numbers, it's about the numbers a year from now... and the fact that we're beginning to put some bounds on how many shares might be outstanding by then.

On label change day, a new volume Thread as the other thread had hit 99 pages.
Nine minute prior to the new York premarket opening volume, 93,061 shares. $2.36 plus 19 cents plus 8.76% www.nasdaq.com/symbol/mnkd/premarket
MNKD is going to show up on the most active and the gainers % today.
Any test, $2.30 should hold now the nov 2016 lows. Once resistance should now be support.
repeating myself, through $2.35, $2.75 targets. I love the name of this thread... "Volume Tree"

I am not unduly concerned re Friday's scripts, I am more concerned about the short term dip we will get due to the sales reps being withdrawn from the field for a while to be retrained on the new FDA labelling (which will reduce sales predictably soon... watch out for the dip and do not worry IMHO) but that's a necessary step. With the new label they can sell this product effectively based on the actual drug performance and it is clearly best in class now. Any competent doctor can see that from the graphs. It then comes down to insurers (in the US at least) and the effectiveness of MNKD in helping people challenge insurer decisions which are adverse for patients. I believe we are now, indeed, in future mode. I am deeply deeply in the red even given today's moves but more optimistic than I have been in a while.
Mike: at least announce you are looking at seeking UK approval. Its a big and reliable market, and based on clinical effectiveness. What you may lose in terms of the NHS negotiating competitive rates you gain in enormous bulk sales. Our Prime Minister is diabetic.... thats an 'in' if ever I saw one....

We've got a little wind out our back because we're heading out of a seasonal slump period, IMO... but always good to keep expectations in check.
