Am not sure why but there seems to be a lot of activity in publishing articles on diabetes today... not directly related to mannkind but nonetheless important to how we see the future after approval...

Oral meds just don't cut it for many type 2 diabetics.
If Afrezza captures just 10% of this market it is a $2 billion blockbuster. This number is based on the 21 billion $ spent on glucose lowering insulin in 2010. This # has grown since and continues to get bigger. Add in type 1 diabetics then add in Europe , Asia and we are talking billions more.
