Not sure but one rebuttal stated the following and I agree with him.



All insider sales require a 75 day notice as per S.E.C. regulations. These sales were planned before ADCOM and before the FDA advanced their decision date from April 15th to July 15th.

It is likely that a partnership announcement was planned for after April 15th but has been delayed due to the FDA issue. This small insider sale would have come after the partnership announcement but it did not work out that way.

I checked the holdings for the insiders at Mannkind a few days ago and they are well over 90% so this is no run for the doors happening. Believe me, if it were a real insider exit the whole market would know by now.

The author's piece is only his point of view and he has left out important points which makes me think that he has an agenda in bringing down the price of the stock. These folks are called "shorts" and they make money in the exact opposite way most investors make money. Shorts make money by driving the price per share (p/s) down, not up...

Just a reminder that David Thompson, who sold second largest amount is recently divorced so his sales may have something to do with that or its aftermath...
