Over the next couple weeks there are multiple events coming up that will require a PR release with potential to move the SP. - CEO Castagna said last week that Brazil filing was expected within a two week time-frame.
- Deerfield payment of 10M which was deferred to the end of October. Three options, Mannkind can pay this, Deerfield can furthur defer the payment, or they can take shares again as they did in April. Given how much their previous shares have appreciated in price - i can see if deerfield take the shares again. This would be a very bullish sign.
- I believe the 3 month notice period for delisting from Tase is expected by end of the month. CEO Castagna said this would free up 10M preferred shares.
Missing anything else expected? The STAT trial results would be nice but i don't think we will hear anything until 2018.

madog, if the stock reacts the way it has to Kent K. buying at $6 (along with few other big money types), I doubt any of the above is going to be a positive mover. Something else, maybe.

Indeed management has said STAT results will not be released until 2018. I doubt the TASE delisting would require a PR since the timeline was already announced. A placement of preferred shares would need to be announced but given they just did a placement of common, I doubt there would be a preferred offering coming so closely behind. Brazil filing may be announced, but I doubt that would move SP since it's already known pending event and conveys no notion of success, and best case revenue still a long way off. On Deerfield, their accepting of discounted shares doesn't necessarily mean they hold those shares. They could sell immediately for a nice profit if they receive a discount. I have no idea which they do. But past share price action is an indication wall street doesn't consider such an event as overly positive. At least management now has options for dealing with this. |

Agreed mostly, i did not say whether these will have a positive mover but they all certainly have the ability depending on many factors. Just my speculation but i believe Castagna has a partner lined up for those 10m preferred shares. Potentially somebody who can help MNKD bring Afrezza to various regional markets making up his 50% global coverage within 12 months prediction. Would you consider that a positive mover? |

Absolutely, I think that would be great, because it opens up the vista for revenues! But take a look at Alethea's recent post on the thread "latest short interest." If the shares are going to remain preferred, then I don't think they can be lent out, but if those shares can be converted to common stock, watch out if Alethea is correct. |

1 & 2 down with #3 set for next week. I believe as soon as those preferred shares are freed up we will see a buy-in for the last piece of re-capitalization.
EDIT: Also if there is a new >5% holder from the HC Wainwright placement, they will need to file by 10/26.

My opinion based on the recent activity is that there is not an imminent event that will deliver a large cash payment (i.e. TS licensing, international licensing, or buyout). I don't think we would have diluted (even though it was minimal) if that was the case. Perhaps some people bought on the speculation that would happen and now have decided to move on.
That said, we have received votes of confidence from Deerfield, Kent Kresa, and whoever bought the 10 million shares in the recent offering. I think this is a time of optimism for the company. I have added a small amount of shares. It would be nice to see sales go up a litter faster though.

I had circled 10/23 and 10/27 for announcements. So far on 10/23 we had the two announcements. I am looking for one more announcement on the 60 Million. Perhaps that will be by 10/27. Then you will see the pps moving upwards. |

kc, what is it you're expecting on the $60 million? Sch 13G by the new 5% owner, if any, 10 days after 10/13 PIPE. Mnkd will announce its earnings call at least a week prior to ER. The mandated 10-Q filing date is 11/9/17. |
