It's All About The Label and The Lungs

There won't be a partnership until the FDA decides what the suitable population is that would benefit from Afrezza. Type 1 and 2, or just Type 2. And then there's the question on whether or not there will be required lung tests due to the FDA concern about Afrezza damaging the lungs (loss of capacity, carcinogenic, etc.).

That having been said, I do believe MNKD will test the recent $11.11 high in the coming week, possibly even Monday.

I do think the FDA will require some form of lung testing on Afrezza users based on the fact that this subject matter was mentioned several times by Adcom panelists.
My question and concern is the cost, how long this monitoring will be required, and this added cost effect on Mannkind's bottom line.

These and other unknowns is what presumably continues to drive the short thesis
