Good. For whatever reason. If he didn't make it at MNKD for whatever reason it's good for MNKD to replace this guy. Given the concept of delivery ultra fast insulin; the V-Go® Wearable Insulin Delivery device may remedy a patients anxiety about needle injection (the are micro needles), the system isn't anywhere close to the primary target of giving patients faster mealtime control. To me this is a step down for Joe; it's a lower ambition in diabetic treatment to apply one's life too. There is NO comparison between the two company's to work for when looking at the target of how a drug delivery system can change the lives of the global population.

Good luck to Saldanha in his new endeavor. Can't say he was impactful at Mannkind. Opportunity for Mike to bring in a more energetic member to his team. He has brought over so many of the Amgen posse he has probably been served a cease & desist from them. LOL Fresh eyes and ideas on the way. Somebody with international background & connections please.

Not even 2 years. As long as it doesn't become a pattern it doesn't worry me much.

Has he been replaced? If not, do we see another AMGN guy/gal step in?

Valeritas was owned by J&J and given they literally closed their pump business and sent the patients to MDT, Valeritas I am assuming is going to try to make a go of it on their own. Lots of ex SNY people over there.

May have been, that was about same time Mike C. was hired as CMO, under Matt P. Easy to research: Mike C AnnouncementTwo New Hires AnnouncementApparently was unhappy or not getting the job done. Move on.

In my industry lots and lots of people are enticed away from jobs not because there is a problem but simply that another company decides to throw money at them. A whole spectrum of possibilities and we probably will never know. Unless there becomes a pattern of people leaving now, it is pretty much a non event, IMO.

VLRX appears very interesting on the face of it. “15,000 people using it, the patient in the ad has been using it for four years, covered by medicare part D...”. If I calculated correctly it has about 7 million shares outstanding, trades several thousand a day (somedays it looks like no trades), only 7,000 short as of last report. Lots of unknowns to me though interesting.
