Michael,
I read your invitation to AF to visit the manufacturing facilities and to discuss the costs associated with Afrezza. In my opinion that is a mistake, I doubt he would be objective and probably would twist words around to fit his short thesis.
If you would consider an interview with someone, let it be Spencer Osborne. I have had numerous long discussions with him. While he tends to put a negative spin in his articles I do believe he would be objective and could clarify many false assumptions surrounding Afrezza and Technosphere.

However I would be happy to host him in CT You are entitled to your own opinion but MC did a good move to invite AF and also take him on a bet. In reality, AF most likely did not response to the invitation. By the way MC has always invited these so called analyst via SA forum or tweet as you saw with AF. They never responded because they are cowards. MC should not give SO or AF the luxury of talking to Mannkind. Once the scripts continue increasing, pipeline maturing, int expansion, insurance adoption, STAT study review, etc both SO and AF will have a bad taste in their mouth for the rest of their lives. Mannking is bigger than two chump analyst making a few bucks on articles. This is about a paradigm shift. It appears you focus to much on the short term just like SO and AF which is not the play here. Good luck on your investments and I hope SO and AF never step inside Mannkind facility. They had their chance why give them a chance now. They should step up and grow some and request an interview not the other way around. |

Mike has shown his ability to stand toe to toe with anyone. Inviting in the bashers for a sit down at Mannkind in my opinion is a great idea (unless they were meeting with Matt). Mike is a young aggressive CEO. It's unfortunate that he has to defend his company from idiots like AF, but SO I think is a more reasonable advissary and it could be time well spent. Negative articles do have an impact on share price and we would all like to see MNKD rise. Release the Kraken!

You got one out of three right in my opinion:-( which one Sports? Those who are determined to kill a company will not have their opinions altered when paid to do their job. Catagna is an optimist which is a necessary and important personality trait to make MNKD succeed. Kastanes doesn't think that truth and visual evidence will change a paid representative... and I agree that AF is a scumbag beyond rational approach. BTW . AF and Osborne are interchangeable. |

These guys are not welcome and are not worth Mannkind's time or MC's time. Also, why now? They had their chances in the past - yearly investors meeting, quarterly earning calls, etc. No excuses. If they spend so much time writing articles, why can't they find time to call, email, etc. A reporter does whatever it takes to get the truth/story why can't these so called analyst do the same. Anyone that wants this interview is loosing focus on the goal. What transparency? I think after Monday's presentation, I got all the information that I wanted. Lets just wait to see who the CMO is on Monday and go from there. Funny how Matt P. has AF as a connection on Linkedin.  Anyway, SO and AF are not really contributing in any way just giving day traders something to chew on, but when a long term places a comments on their articles they go on the defensive and never retract their wrongdoings. Also, when folks like myself start talking about the science behind afrezza, forget about, SO,risingskeptism, AF are all scientist all of a sudden. Dudes probably don't even have their Master's degree. I remember going 1:1 with SO on comparing Afrezza to the pancreas. Went back and forth for a while. This is not rocket science the science has already been done/proven/FDA approved thanks to Technosphere. Moreover, SO never called out risingskeptism on his SA message board when he attacked investors opinions on Afrezza, why because he is a hypocrite. Al, may he rest in peace, called Shkreli a punk. I call AF and SO punks as well. SO says he still believes Mannkind is speculative. What does that mean? SO - Don't tell us what we already now, tell us what do you think. Not that hard. i.e. running out cash, dilution, scripts are flat, etc..dude we all know the scripts numbers every Friday just like you do. Has SO or AF helped any PWD with their vast knowledge of diabetes? Personally, i have. For example- I recommended Tresiba to my T1D cousin. He mentioned Tresiba to his doctor, got a prescription and loves it. His life has changed dramatically with less injections and less hypo. I tried to explained Afrezza to him but, like many PWDs, only listen to their endo. Long story short Mannkind long. |
