Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but I have tried a few times to get SA to post my legitimate rebuttal to Risingskept and Spencer in the comment section, and they never post what I write.
So, I thought that I would go the other direction and ask an obviously stupid question and sure enough...THEY POSTED IT.

For those that have not read SA or the comment section, Risingskept is a poster that will post several times (8 or more) in the comment section bashing MNKD and Afrezza on a regular basis on any article written about MNKD and Afrezza.
It has been said that he is employed by Afrezza's potential competition.
It seems quite obvious that he is.
What a bs publication!

Do you want an answer? For whatever reason he wants MNKD to go bankrupt and for afrezza never to be seen again. Much of his copy and paste is out of context and therefore wrong but he is right about one thing - to date afrezza has not sold.
As good a product as afrezza is, it has not sold. To date it is one of the greatest marketing failures in history. That's reality. There is no sugar coating it. Do we like it, no. Has Mike been able to sell product to date, no. Two years later and less than 500 boxes a week and no big deals signed to date. Is it because afrezza is not as good as we think it is, NO. afrezza really is that good and should replace every antiglycemic.
The one HUGE success Mike has had to date is getting Dr. David Kendall. By him joining MNKD he has validated that afrezza really is as good as we all know and that it should be the standard of care for T1s but more importantly for the T2s. But let me set expectations, its going to take a lot of work and time to make this happen.
Lets hope in the mean time Mike really has put a deal together. Lets hope on Tuesday he has great news out of left field. But hope springs external and does not pay the bills. It will take Dr. Kendall 2 years to make afrezza the super blockbuster it should be. Be prepared for more selling of stock if Mike can not sell product and we can't blame Riskingskeptic for this. If his job has been to help spread FUD about afrezza he has done a superb job.

Sayhey, I knew the answer before I asked the obvious, facetious question. I thought that I made that clear pointing out the fact that Rising was/is relentlessly bashing MNKD and Afrezza on EVERY post that he writes. It just proves that SA is behind the spreading of fud too! I have written quite a few rebuttles to the copy and paste crap that rising posts and that Spencer often writes. I follow the "rules" of the SA board, and my posts that are factual and some even contain links, mysteriously, they just never show up to print! Other times, out of frustration, I may get a little s hitty with a comment or two, and sometimes (but not all times) SA will respond with how my post did not follow their rules. Other times, those posts just disappear as well. And yet they post a silly, already cearly evidently answered question that I facetiously wrote to the bashing poster named risingskept. SA has lost ALL credibility! BTW, I agree wholeheartedly with your above words. I hope that we hear some good news sooner than later. It's been a long, long wait, but I'm in it for the long haul! GLTA! |

I can not think of another company which has been as snake bit as MNKD. After two CRLs and 7 years since it should have first been approved, I think we are finally here. I think its fair to say we all like Mike but he didn't have a snow ball's chance in hell of pulling this off by himself. I think sooner than later your buddy Risingskeptic will go "poof".
Mike now has the real deal in Dr. Kendall. I am not sure how Mike pulled it off but he did. After 7 years of being snake bit, the damn snake could be dead.
A day before the Dr. Kendall announcement I was told by a bio-chemist in the MA group of a very large Pharma, afrezza was a fraud and nothing could do what was being claimed. The very next day was the day of the announcement and I sent the press release to her and asked her why did she think Kendall went to MNKD. Her response was wow, maybe it needs another look, is it "really real".
When dealing with chuckleheads like Riskingskeptic just remember the facts are with you. afrezza is nothing more than human insulin which works as fast as if the pancreas was releasing it. Its not some lab created magical concoction. To the body it looks just like the pancreas is working like its healthy and while to a non-diabetic that's normal to a PWD its a near miracle. As the bio-chemist said, is it "really real".

My posts are censored and regardless of how diplomatic I have made them recently they do not get posted in his (SO's) articles.
