Mike is a fighter. He needs Spencer in the room at the annual meeting just to release the inner Philadelphia street kid. He won't be at the annual meeting as he is not a shareholder. He is a paid shill.....

Our old rainbow spewing unicorn followed that with a jab at this board and Mike....he sounds like he's a bit sour and bitter in his response to Mike LOL!! THE short position cannot get out without a lot of pain!! Chinese water torture for them with trickles of dilution that will get absorbed by new and existing strong longs Btw, have my 90 day supply of Afrezza shipped on it's way to my doorstep, that's 540 cartridges...180 each of 4u,8u, & 12u....see ya CVS!! Assuming you use two boxes per month of 180 cartridges each (60 4ut, 60 8ut, 60 12ut), then if you had MY $5,000 deductible (an Obamacare Bronze policy), you would have PAID about $2,445 OUT OF POCKET for a three month supply. Even after reaching my deductible, a 40% coinsurance out of pocket co-payment of nearly $1000 would be required. With my current insurance you would be paying something like $7,000 per year. You seem to have great insurance. You are the Exception and not the Rule.

Doesn't that take the cake? www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJaTSZnTFcs&t=13sWhen a white guy does it...it is? National Healthcare with poor rules? There is a law in a US bill saying we may not negotiate the price of our drugs. However, medicare may. What would that do to Gross National Product?

Looking at it that way it was simple, obviously some days I use more than others....as Sayhey and other's have noted and as a PWD yourself we know that each PWD especially T2's are in different stages of the disease and each individual has a different make-up regarding their personal health, complications from same regarding meds they use, individual metabolism, etc. So when this message gets across to the writers and that there is no way to create a uniform dosing/titration schedule for all patients rather like T1's that understand their own individual daily needs, only then will you see the long awaited growth and more importantly the refills of scripts achieve maximum potential. This is what the new CMO along with our PharmD CEO will help make happen. Regarding the insurance aspect you refer to the fortunate side of the equation of having finally gotten the option for a better plan after waiting two years from the time my first script was written, hopefully as things continue to progress with the advancement of this eventually becoming the "standard of care" that Kendall sees and refers to, you will have a more cost efficient option along with many others. Trust me if I could ship you some I would as I am very empathetic to your current situation having waited two years to even get it myself.

Joey, I confused myself and probably everybody else when I said you likely used two boxes per month. I meant to say two boxes as per the previous marketing of 90 cartridges per box. I have used Afrezza for about two years and have bought something like a dozen boxes of the 90 cartridge boxes. Initially I paid about $300 per 90 cartridges. My last box I paid nearly $500 for 90 cartridges. Sadly that is where the big bump in 4q revenue came from.
In my mind, I thought of you as using two boxes of 90 cartridges per month. My mistake! Mea culpa!
However, all the other numbers of my previous post stand. Under the New packaging regime, one box of 180 cartridges would cost you about $815 per month or $2,445 per quarter IF you had my insurance.... until the $5K deductible is reached. Then 40% co-payment.
So IF I use Afrezza at your consumption rate, my previous cost of approx $7,000 per year is correct.... with MY insurance.
And notice we have seen precious little improvement in insurance coverage for 2018 from 2017. I think it's because it's just too damn expensive for insurance companies to want to cover. Why should they when the injectables are much cheaper?
I will be going on Medicare this summer and I think the Medicare supplement coverage is quite poor... especially here in Iowa. And of course the Medicare age bracket comprises the vast majority of the Type 2 population.
The lack of insurance coverage improvement for 2018 speaks for itself.
Very happy for you and your personal situation. Continued good fortune to you!

I’m in Kansas and follow that yellow brick road everyday but have not found that Emerald city yet. Perhaps it Eudora KS.... or maybe it will be Leavenworth KS for Martin Shkreli.
