You’re right I am not, I never go to LA, I try to stay as far away from there as possible. In conclusion, the 405 freeway is a glorified parking lot unless you're traveling in the middle of the night. Hopefully they move the ASM back to Danbury next year.

Hey Mango ... you probably know that I'm from Hawaii. I once rented a huge Cadillac in Seattle and drove my wife and daughter on a college search. We visited around 36 colleges and drove 2500 miles ... and returned the car in Las Vegas. (Hawaii's 9th island) Anyway, if this silly native can do that ... I'm sure that you can rent a car and drive it to the event. BTW, I rented a HUGE Cadillac because people drive 80 to 90 miles an hour on the "mainland" and wanted as much metal to protect us. (That's what people from Hawaii call the USA ... we also call you all "crazy haoles") But, that's another story. Good luck Mango ... I don't like to be responsible for things like a vehicle on trips where I have use a plane to get there, always have just used the tube system or buses or shuttles in big cities. Will be using lyft from LAX 😎

I was just looking at flights. Could land at LAX on the 15th at 2:50 PM. then fly back out of LAX on the 16th at 4:05 PM. Hmmm. do I do it? Anybody else flying in about the same time? Perhaps split the car rental? Is car rental necessary? Train? Bus? Taxi? Walk? Is LAX the best airport to fly into? Rofl going to la without a car. Burbank is a much better airport in general than lax and a few minutes closer. Depends where you are flying from. On the off chance you could fly into Santa Barbara at no extra cost that would be the best

I have never been to LA or California but my plane is already booked to LAX. Surely I can walk to a museum or bar, no? If all fails I will at least be in a recreational legal state and stay put at the hotel 😎.

If somehow the share price jumps a couple of integers within the next couple of weeks before the meeting, I’ll fly out 3,000 miles and recreate in every way possible

I think I'll be flying in for my first annual shareholder meeting. I've been a participant in this war zone now for 4+ years. It's a darn good thing I come from Viking heritage. I kinda like all the thumpings. But Valhalla is just around the corner for us longs. Our perseverance is about to pay off. Cheers to all and Happy Easter! are you still coming?

At midnight??? I use to commute from el segundo to Santa Clarita and at noon expect 90 minutes minimum and two hours is not out of the question. The coast is a much nicer drive but any incident on pch and the route is toast Pch to Kanan dune or one of the other canyon roads to Thousand Oaks. It is an amazing drive if you can do it and it keeps you off the 405. Just don’t take the one that is highway 23.
